And in those moments, where she has felt so lost
He smiles at her, with a simple "hi,"
And in that moment, she feels loved
Nothing can hurt her she screams, at the very top of her lungs
She watches him in complete adoration
For the fact that he exists gives her a reason
In anything he does, she sees him through golden light
When his mouth curves into a smile and his eyes start to shine brighter
Her whole world is shifted, focused in on that very moment in time
A snapshot in her mind
She screams louder, "finally, he's mine."
For so many long nights, ones that still exist
She struggled to believe she would ever find her own
But now he asks her to look through all of the mist
Aloneness
Focus on the tracings of the skin
The skin carefully crafted just like porcelain
His lips move closer, making those stupid butterflies light up again
She wants forever with him

A promise, she sings, holding his hand

"I will keep you close
Through the darkness and the light
Hold you next to me
Even when I see your harsh sides
Nights will be rough, our minds will try to play it off
The sun and the clouds will shift, rain will come to us, even hardships
But know, my love, I will always hold you near, for you are the man I trust."

What feels like a dream
A vision she has
She's sitting in the rain, nothing can be seen
Criss-cross, on the ground
She looks around
Seeing bright blues and grays
The water pouring on her soul
She's almost caught in a haze
She yells into the darkness, I am not alone
And there in the distance, a bright light begins to form
A silhouette is made out
Blue light cascades through the shadow
It seems to drift on its bout
She looks up, a smile played across her face
To see the man, the boy she met
So many years ago, a small conversation, holding that feeling they couldn't relent
He kneels down
Brings his hand to hers, and holds on tightly
His fingertips start to trace
She falls into him, giving up all of herself and nothing at all
Because the balance they feel
Is unlike another
