"One last thing, dear..." Amala's mother muttered one last time before the girl left for Flame's Arc Academy. "Please, do your best at the academy. Be among the greatest dragoneers. We both have faith in you. Oh! Don't run into any danger during your time at the academy for dragoneers. Come back to us safely, that's the most important bit--" she rambled on, clearly a worried mother.
"Come on now, isn't that too wordy?" Her father stepped in. "Amala.. just like the heroes in your favorite fairy tales, reach the end of your story in your way. Leave a mark in the stars - if not for you, then for us and the world. Make us, and yourself especially, proud. And.. be safe, dear."
The black-haired girl rolled her eyes affectionately, and nodded with a saccharine smile. "Got it, I'll reach for the stars as a proud dragoneer!" She then sought to reassure her parents one final time before she caught up to the rest of the flock. "Ignis is by my side. I'll be okay, and I'll even send letters," the young girl sighed as she gave one final hug to her parents.
They both nodded at her as she mounted Ignis, a teenage Skullbane Wyvern who was pitch black in color. He roared as he got ready and took off to the skies, following the other dragons who were supposedly journeying to the same academy and led by the guide's dragon.
She found herself looking back after a short moment. Amala swore in her mind, that she could see her parents waving gentle goodbyes. She had the slightest hint of a smile on her face, though she shook it off and looked straight ahead once more.
Now, what happens during the duo's stay in the Flame's Arc Academy.. is up to kismet. Surely, everything will be alright.
