On the outskirts of Robinson Industries, a pair of assemblies hung out at their assigned location. A lot of the other teams kept themselves busy fighting a few loose robots, but there wasn't much action coming from the north-east side...

"How long do you think they're gonna take?" one of them asked.

"Dunno?" said the other, chilling with his hands behind his head.

It's not that they were slacking... on purpose, that is. They had to keep themselves posted while awaiting further orders.

"We should count ourselves lucky," said one of the guys, fiddling with his nunchucks, "no robots to do away with us, at least."

"Sure, but somehow I'd rather be smashing something up to pass the time..." said the other as he stretched.

Just as he said that, a robot came into view- heading straight for them!

"About time!" said one of them, cracking his neck before getting into place.

Right as they were prepared for the fight, the robot seemingly stormed past them, without even a sign of acknowledgement.

"What the-?!"

Thrown off by that strange occurrence, they jarringly watched as the robot raced toward the Robinson Industries!

Robots from the other posts did the same: abandoning the heat of battle to head for the centered structure.

Up near the front, Kaleb received Topaz's transmission and was about to send in help, until several other teams from around the premise reached out to him, too.

It was bad. From the sound of things, a number of robots were signaled over to the establishment. Before Kaleb was able to order backup, SP4D3 had already called in his own reinforcements...

"What should we do, Kaleb?" Dominic asked his superior, "There are only two of us, plus the kids who are already being overwhelmed inside."

"I'm thinking..." Kaleb murmured, cupping his chin.

From within the Industry, Topaz and Wilbur received a response, "Looks like we're being ambushed outside, as well..." said Kaleb, "I'm repositioning the rest of our comrades up here, but it might take some time... You guys will have to hang on a little longer."

"You must be joking!" Topaz said in distress, "You mean we have to fend for ourselves down here?!"

"Get as close to the exit as you can! The same way you came in. Dominic and I will come for you as soon as possible!" he instructed.

Growling beneath her breath, Topaz was rightfully dissatisfied with those orders. The stakes were set high... What else could they do? If Kaleb and Dominic went in at this very moment, the robots from outside would surely follow them in, leaving them pinned from every angle. There was no other way...

"Sir... We'll do what we can!" Topaz replied.

"I want both of you to get out of this alive..." Kaleb added, "That's an order." he ended the transmission.

Seeing the security bots draw closer to the teens, Wilbur felt rattled. Sure he's taken on mobs of enemies, but that was only in video games. The only other time that comes close would be pillow fights with the family, which were pretty intense, but he'd prefer being knocked around by soft cushions than big metal hands.

Topaz reached for the twin pistols resting in the belt around her waist, "You better not make me carry you..." she muttered to Wilbur, crouching like she was ready to leap into action.
