-saturday evening-
"bye rina!" y/n waves goodbye to the girl. "bye y/n! i love you, and rintarou you too i guess."
"aw rina where's my goodbye?" atsumu pouts playfully.
"bye, you're annoying, good luck!" she gives atsumu a hard slap on the back and gets into her dads car, giving one final wave goodbye.
"why are ya and yer sister both so mean.." atsumu rubs where he got slapped.
"only to idiots of course." suna gives both y/n and atsumu a hit on their shoulders before walking ahead.
"c'mon, we're gonna be late."
"Y/NNN!"
as the three make their way into the gym, they're immediately spotted by bokuto. he runs up to y/n, pulling her into a big hug.
"hi kou how ya doing?" she asks while getting spun around in bokuto's embrace
"good! even better that you're here!" he gives her a big smile.
"hi tsum-tsum! oh and suna!"
he greets the two other guys. "hi bo, ya finished setting up?" atsumu asks, not taking his eyes off of the girl, who's still wrapped in bokuto's arms
"yup! we're just waiting for kenma and kuroo and we're all set. some people might be getting here later though."
he looks down at y/n. "are you gonna play tonight y/n?" he asks eagerly. "sorry not today kou, maybe next time!" she says sheepishly, looking back up at him.
"you say that everytime y/n! please just play with us."
she lets out a laugh. "i know i do! im sorry im just tired today and you know i barely know how to play."
bokuto pouts, feeling sad he couldn't convince the girl. suddenly, something popped up in her mind, which she knew would cheer him up.
