Drew was once again unaware of how to feel for her first day at Grey-Sloan. She could try and forget the faces of the doctors who told her that her daughter was dead, or not. It could work, none of them would be working on the same floor so they wouldn't see each other.

Or so she thought.

-

Drew was on hour one of her very first shift, she had been up in Psych consulting patients and getting consent forms for her study. Locked up in her office reviewing her contract and some other things before she was paged down to the E.R.

"Someone paged?" Drew smiles to the nurses at the station before she is directed to a bed "thank you"

"This is the Neuroscientist I was telling you about! Harper Avery winning for her research in Cognitive, Developmental and Behavioral Neuroscience. Dr. Tillman" The pretty blue eyed pediatrics surgeon introduces Drew

"Thank you Dr. Robbins. What can I do for you?" Drew smiles at the patient then at Dr. Robbins, whose first name she had yet to learn.

As Drew finished up explaining to the patient's mother her latest research, Dr. Robbins came back with some lab results so it was perfect timing for Drew to head back. She handed her business card to the patients mother then excused herself.

-

During lunch Drew decided to grab something from the cafeteria. As soon as she entered someone from behind her called her name

"Dr. Robbins, what can I do for you?" Drew smiles as she waits for Robbins to reach her side, then continue walking.

"How about I introduce you to some of our doctors?" Robbins smiles and motions to the table of surgeons she had seen the day of her interview

"How about another time?" Drew grabs a tray and hands it to Robbins as they join the line "I have to go finish doing some research upstairs, I can find you after if you're still here"

"My shift ends in 2 hours, how about I find you and I can give you an official tour of the place?"

"Raincheck? I would like to finish setting up my lab and getting through orientation with my team" Drew smiles apologetically "I understand you're only trying to be welcoming"

Arizonas smile falters slightly and her gaze shifts to try and hide her disappointment, except Drew is quick to catch on even as Arizona tries to quickly acts as if nothing bothered her

"How about you come with me to drinks at Joes? My cousin has invited me and I would love to forward the invitation as an apology for not being able to join you today"

"That would be great!" Arizona looks up with a smile at the taller woman "Should I come find you after I'm done here"

"Sounds good" Drew smiles and winks at Arizona before she walks away

Arizona is quickly brought back to reality when she realizes the cafeteria line has moved and she is holding it up

"Dr. Tillman paid for you" the lunch lady states as Arizona is digging in her pockets for her card. Arizona chuckles and grabs her tray then makes her way to the table with April and some of their co-workers

"You were flirting" karev doesn't hesitate to point out as soon as Arizona takes a seat

"wha- I wasn't flirting" Arizona stutters before she takes a sip of her drink "I was being friendly before we run off another doctor"

"You were flirting. You were batting your eyes at the woman so much so that you didn't notice her paying for your lunch" April takes Alex's side in the conversation

-

Arizona makes her way onto the psych floor where she immediately loses her way and ends up bumping into someone

"Excuse me" the woman says without looking up from her iPad and she steps aside to make room

"Dr. Tillman, it's nice to run into you" Arizona chuckles at her own unintended pun "quite literally"

"Dr. Robbins, I apologize!" Drew looks up and smiles at the familiar woman "I was trying to get this paperwork done and wasn't watching where I was going"

Arizona nods her head no and watches, mesmerized, as Drew removes her glasses

"Walk with me" Drew motions as she takes a step next to Arizona and leads the way "I should be done here in at least 2 hours. Would you like to wait here or would you like to go home and rest?"

"Do you mind if I wait with you? I carpooled with Alex- Dr. Karev and he has a longer shift" Arizona explains as Drew multitask while they walk side by side through the corridor's of the Psychiatric floor of the hospital

"I do not mind at all" Drew looks up and smiles at Arizona "Would you prefer my office or the common room? I have some things to oversee in there if you would like to join"

"I'd love to join you"

Drew smiles at Arizona once again and then scans her badger to the hall leading to the common room. They walk in silence for the remainder of the short walk, only speaking when they greet other doctors. Finally they enter the room and Arizona is amazed at the level of comfort the room displays.

"This room is beautiful" Arizona looks around, feeling the softness of the furniture and glancing around to every other piece of furniture that puts the room together

"Custom built. Most of the furniture in here has been custom made to fit within the safety, care, and comfort set fourth by patients and the state" Drew explains as she motions for Arizona to take a seat "can I get you anything"

"No, thank you. Go ahead and do what it is you have to get done, I'll work on some charts in the meantime"

-

A little over 2 hours later

"Dr. Robbins, are you ready to head out?" Drew shuts her laptop and stands to get a good stretch in. She watches as Arizona very obviously checks her out but chooses not to mention it this time.

"Just Arizona, no needs for all the formality if we're becoming good friends" Arizona smiles "and yes, I am ready to go"

"Well then, just Arizona, lets get going" Drew winks at Arizona as she picks up her things and waits for Arizona to reach her side

-

The car ride was a silent one. Comfortable silence which they both seemed to enjoy after a long shift.

Once at Joes, they order their drinks and then Drew looks around for her cousin she was supposed to be meeting.

"April!" Drew laughs
