A replacement. That's all he was, wasn't he? He wasn't counted as a planet until after X's ejection. They needed some excuse so they gave him his title, Hades. He was never truly meant to be there, was he? He was just the piece of another puzzle that somehow managed to fit. For a while.. at least, until he was declared to not be one and thrown away once more.
