An alliance:
"Ahhh, No" he said firmly and shortly as he stared at her, tied up with possibly the world's most unamused expression.
"What?-"
"listen sweetheart," he said calmly, cocking his head to the side, a small metal like ring pierced to his bottom lip visible "I got a lot of things to do and share but that, I can't"
"Don't call me sweetheart" she said, but her mind appeared pre-occupied as she looked to the side. A sly smile slowly grew on his face as he raised a brow "why? Aren't you the kind heart that kidnapped, tied and threatened me? not to mention assaulted me the night before"
"And when I saved your life you just had tob shot me" he mumbled the last part and Nova scoffed at that and raised her tank top a bit, a little below her cleavage were thick rolls of white bandages that wrapped around her torso.
"Don't spit shit about that cause you caused this" She all but yelled at him while pointing at a small blood stain right on her rib.
She sighed as she noticed his nose scrunch up and his face grimace as his stare lingered "look, that isn't the point" she said, pulling her shirt back down and walking closer to him "It's protocol, that you cooperate with me cause',my mission is to get enough information from you, about the Galacia ink. Company 5 miles miles from here... Please"
Nova was terrible at this. She wasn't used to interrogating she was used to aiming, but she still had a logical mindset to get her somewhere. But now her tone was desperate. As much as she enjoyed the thrill of killing the savage rouges a part of her reminded, that they were still werewolfs.
The commander had stated over the phone that this company could be linked to the rouges, since the chemicals Galacia has been ordering are the same ones that have been traced in the blood stream of the beasts and her's.
If she could find a permanent cure for her blood lust then there would be no reason to kill anymore and if they take down the company, then, no more rouges.
And the same voice motivated or rather pushed her to at least try and do something, a lot of people would benefit from this after 14 years since they appeared. Not to mention the amount of pain it takes to hold back, the individual veins I feel pulse on my tooth and body with every move, the serum I have to take in order to turn back that tastes like bile. And the fear that someday, I won't be able to go back, that I'll turn into one of those things that killed my parents and cursed me.
Luc stared at the ceiling and released a long sigh through his nose, "look kid, I really can't help you for personal reasons, yes but-" he looked conflicted as his eyes searched the plain white details
After a few seconds he let out an audibly irritated sigh and shut his eyes then opened them, looking directly at the more than confused girl he saw her eyes flicker with a soft shine, this must be important if she's like that. Facing her, he closed his eyes shut and said slowly "-when I... When I got transformed into this...most of my memories were gone, annnd the next thing I saw was your commander, only, he was kind enough to tie me up to a chair "he paused feeling her glare but ignored it.
"he said that I was infected with blah blah blah-on my undercover job at Galacia. then fired me" he deadpanned as he finally stared at the the girl, the chains rattling together "the only good outcome is that I get a sum of cash every now and then, but you need to listen closely"
He leaned his head forward lazily, every movement of him visibly tired "the company your talking is infact involved but I got no leads for ya, it's long forgotten. I told ya, wrong guy"
Her expression remained concentrated on him as if he was nothing more then a speck of dirt on her suit.An inconvenience with a cold, icy, dark blue stare. She moved her eyes to the cream white wall behind luc, inhaling a long quiet breath, she began walking towards him.
It was eerily quiet with every step she took, the pissed off aura from her grew stronger and stronger. She still kept eye contact but it was hidden by her hair, but there wasn't any hatred behind it, she looks more annoyed though, luc internally argued as he studied her face and movement drifting off to deep though.
The fast action of the black headed girl plopping herself beside him brought himself back to his senses, but he only narrowed his eyes at her as a reaction. Quickly, she pulled out a key and inserted it into the chains and after a flew tries, there was a click.
The chains immediately fell off but before he could relish the feeling, the girl was near the door "Don't move" she warned while closing the door. The moment she was gone he let out a groan as he stretched out almost everything, the individual bubbles giving a satisfying pop with each movement.
'don't move' don't move really? This girl's crazy, like really I don't even know where I am and she says 'DoN't MoVe'.
He lets out a tired sigh and rest's his head back on the wall, with one hand prompted onto his bent knee he closed his eyes, honestly, i couldn't move even if I wanted to with the military on my tail, its better to surrender and safe myself the stress. Last time didn't end well.
The door opens but luc doesn't bother to look until he felt something land harshly on his lap. Confused, his eyes shot open, but he quickly relaxed once he realized what it was.
It was a brown slightly crinkled paper mache bag, it looked medium in size, and heavy too "I'm nova,-" he glanced at her sceptically "-Eat, your gonna be here for a day or two, feel comfortable or whatever" she mumbled sipping on take out drink and walked out the room, leaving the door slightly opened, her footsteps slowly disappeared after a door was shut.
Still processing what the hell just happened he mindlessly opened the bag, "woah..." he exclaimed in a hushed whisper, Inside We're 2 large burgers, 3 medium sized fries, 1 large box of cheese and jalapeno loaded fries, 3 average soda bottles, 2 mini double decker pizza, a very small round vanilla cake at the bottom and 15 wings with barbecue sauce...
"Well shit.." he said under his breath as he stared at the food "she's not half' bad" his expression changed to a judging smile as he held a black coloured soda wrapped by red packaging with white labeling written cursive "well, to an extent atleast.
Taking a sip and helping himself out to most of the food he rests his head against the wall to calm down once more,he turns his head, his golden eye scans the room to finally notice that it's adorned with dark grey, silver and white walls, a few weights, barbells and a skipping rope, punching begs, a rolled up purple yoga mat in the corner and a decent treadmill looking straight out a window. It was night.
no wonder she looked like shit.
He shook his head approving with a pursed lip, "welllllll, she did say 'feel comfortable' and I quote 'whatever' soooo" He said boredly looking at the still slightly opened door.
Heh~ this isn't a kidnapping. It's an alliance. And with me of all the unlucky people.
Rolling his eyes, he stood up and gently walked towards the door, not that he had to, his movements were naturally silent. Close enough, he peeped through the door and a single brow was raised.
Huh?... interesting.
