dylan and ariana have been hanging out for the past few days. it's now july 4th, dylan, ariana, and malachi we're all going to hangout with friends for the day. everyone went to hayley's house. it was hayley, walker, dylan, mason, malachi, madeleine, scarlett, and ariana.

they wanted to just have a day to hangout before it was time for school. walker was already there and mason was coming.

they headed to the backyard where everything was set up. the pool was open, there were snacks and a photo booth.

"hayleyyy" ariana ran over to her friend to hug her. walker dabbed up malachi and dylan. she gave walker a hug afterwards. ariana was grateful that all her friends got along well. she didn't know what she would do without all these people.

soon mason, madeleine, and scarlett showed up. all the kids put swimsuits on for the pool. everyone played spike ball, while hayley's dad was barbecuing they all went into the pool.

they played basketball, did chicken fights, and ate their barbecue. they took many photos to save the memories. it started getting dark, so everyone changed back into their clothes and went to the front of hayley's house for the fireworks.

everyone set up chairs next to each other. hayley's dad got the fireworks ready. they were beautiful. ariana kept her gaze on the lights in the sky while all dylan could look at was her.

"what are you staring at?" ariana turned do dylan. "someone gorgeous" dylan held onto ariana's hand. she started to smile as she looked back at the sky. she took a couple photos when it was time for everyone to leave.

"i'm gonna go on a walk with dylan, i'll be back before 12" ariana told malachi. they all went home as dylan and ariana walked to her house just to talk. hayley lived close, so it wouldn't be a long walk.

"i love 4th of july" ariana said to dylan, walking with him hand in hand. "i love being here with you" dylan replied back. "stoppp" ariana put her face in her hands. dylan laughed at the her as the got closer to her house. "i'm really glad i'm here ari, especially with you" dylan stopped her. "i'm glad your here too, i wouldn't trade this time for the world" ariana held his hands.

they continued to get closer, their breath hitching. dylan looks at her lips back up to her eyes. ariana stares at the boy waiting for his action.

the space between them grew shorter till their lips connected. dylan's hands went to the back of ariana's neck pulling her closer. they soon parted ways. their foreheads touching with a smile on both faces.

no words were spoken, it was a silence but a comfortable one. they walked up to the door hand in hand being greeted with malachi. "so what we're you two doing out there?" he crossed his arms. "oh you know the usual rock paper scissors" ariana laughed. she still had a pink blush on her face, while dylan had a little smirk.

malachi just let the two go as they parted ways. ariana brought dylan to her room and sat down on her bed. she got under the covers, as dylan was getting up to leave, "wait no can you stay tonight?" ariana sprung back up. "yeah sure" dylan closed her door and walked back to the bed.

he took off his shoes and cuddled up next to the girl. she couldn't help but smile. they fell asleep next to one another feeling warm and comfort.
