Chapter 13

Angel POV

It had been two days separated from my mate as we both set on trips we needed to make, I was currently helping the vampire kingdom with rebuilding and helping heal those who were sick or injured. With my witch powers it was easy especially after the vampires got their strength back and was able to use their speed. Everything was running smoothly on my end I just hoped it was the same for Vicki.

I'd help the Vampires enough for them to managed to do it on their own it was now time to help the humans which I figured might be a bit harder to convince them to start a truce again with both me and the vampires. I had set out my men to prepare the carriage, now that I think about it I still don't understand how my father even manage to get the power to over throw all the other kingdoms and keep it like that for 10 almost 11 years.  I shook the thought of once I was told that the carriage was ready. 

Once I was in my head started to hurt like crazy almost as if some was heading me with a log over and over, then my body became hot and I started to sweat , I shook my head and tried to calm down and took a slip of my water and controlled my breathing, Calm down Angel ghee what's going on, Madissa what's happening? I called out to my witch spirit but got no answer. I drank some more of my water and felt myself start to calm down so did my headache maybe it was just tiredness from using my powers too much, I tried to reassure myself , I looked out the small carriage window and saw we were just leaving the Vampire's kingdom, Maybe a little nap will serve me well.

A few hours later there was a knock on the carriage door to signal that we had arrived, I quickly fixed myself and tried to get the sleep off of  me as much as possible.

I stepped out of the carriage once the door open seeing the human kingdom they had already started their rebuilts and repairs looked like I didn't have much work to do here the quicker I can go home I am really tired. As I entered the kingdom I was met with their Young Queen she held familiar features.

"You must be the queen of the witches I would just like to thank you for ending the war it has honestly been hard on all of us especially us humans we don't have the ability and strength you guys have"

I smiled at her and nodded

"I never wanted the war in the first place I'm just glad I can end it and help out as much as I can so whatever you need me to do to speed up the rebuilding process and crops growing anything really"

She smiled warmly at me and introduced me to the people of the kingdom to which I helped rebuild their houses and other structures  injured and helped them with their farming.  everything was going well until suddenly my headache had returned back to me and my body became more heated than before 

"Queen Angel are you alright?"

One of the guys I was healing asked 

"yeah I'm fine just a bit heated"

I said and stepped back from him holding my forehead 

"I think you should rest you've helped us alot"

The young Queen told me after being informed of my sudden reactions I nodded and took a seat, then my vision got burly  and my named became to echoed as a burled vision of the young Queen with a concern face spin in front of me 

"Get my mother now"

I heard but it seemed so far away echoed in the distance then it was darkness for what seemed to be hours. Then a calm soothing voice called out to me

"Angel sweetie wake up"

I heard that voice the same voice I never thought i'd hear again, 

"come on Angel sweet heart"

it called out again no it can't be, I felt wetness draining down on my cheek, I'm crying? 

"don't cry sweetheart I'm right here its okay just open your eye's wake up"

"m-Mom?"

I called 

"yes sweetheart is mean now open your eyes"

light and figures returned back to my version as it got clearer and my mother's appearance came in view she had still looked the same but only a bit older with grey hairs showing. it was really her I thought my father had killed her when I was three. Maybe I'm dreaming

"Your not dreaming sweat heart see"

she took my hand and placed it on her chest where I felt her beaten heart, a warm smiled across her face the brought me back to so much memories of when I was younger.

"How are you alive?"

"well after your father almost killed me and let me for dead our mate bond died instead of me and thankful to the Moon Goddess a man walked by where I was left and took me in and cared for my wounds and for me until I got better and when I did, he told me I was his mated he waited for, for years"

she said with a warm smile as she looked over at a older guy round the same age as my mother, when I realized he was the humans king before the war meaning that the young Queen... I scanned the room and meet eye's with a teary young Queen, 

"I've heard so much wonderful story about you and always wonder who you were but mom said I couldn't know for your safety and ours"

I took my mother into my embrace as tears flowed down my face and I opened up my arms more for my newly founded sister  and we sat there in tears at the sudden reunion.
