Chapter 16

Vicki POV

It's been 8 months since the wedding and since we found out Angel was pregnant and it was been two days since my beautiful son was born, he was beautiful, it was two earlier to till who features he had but his eye's had a moon symbol I guess this was the gift the Moon Goddess was talking about, I was happy with my little family I had created and was bless with Angel has been the best mate I could have ever asked for she was now fully recovered from delivering out little prince and we were both placing him in his bed after he was feed he had his pointing finger in his mouth, I figure it would be a habit he would hold onto until her grew out of it.

"Let's go to bed baby"

I pulled on Angel as we headed to our bed which was one half a wall away from baby Xavier's room. we snuggled together under the sheet and drifted asleep after a long day of finalizing the truce with the kingdoms we finally get a break and to live our life peacefully and I rested my thoughts and let sleep consume me.

Crying woke me up from my sleep I knew it was sometime in the morning the sun barely peaking in the sky, I got up and walked to Xavier's room when a figure stood over the crib lifting up Xavier as he cried the figure turned towards me revealing a woman who had dark bags under her eyes my claws grew out as I went at her only to fall in the crib she just completely disappeared 

"Angel wake up wake up now"

tears well in my eye's

"what's going on what's happened Where's Xavier Where's my child??"

Angel shouted as tears rimed in her eye's

"there was a woman she took him and just vanished in thin air I-i" 

my throat closed as tears went down my face why my son why to me again hadn't enough happen to me, happen to us?

I pulled Angel into me as she cried and hit my chest softly i summoned all of the guards and elders, I ordered all of them to find my son and for the elders to use whatever magic they have to try trace the woman's presence as I tried my best to comfort Angel who was still fulled with hormones from child birth so she wouldn't be in her right mind just yet.

After getting Angel to calm down she went into her work office and dig around to try find anything that could help after I describe the woman to her she said she had saw the woman before but couldn't remember where exactly 

"what about your father's old office?"

I asked and we both went there me reaching before her as I kicked the door down the room dark and had pages all over the room as the room was trashed 

"It was like this when I had It lock"

Angel said and I nodded looking around at the papers on the floor this had just happen then meaning the woman was in here, I shifted into my wolf thankfully the ceiling was high enough so I hand space to more around and smell around the room comfortable it smelled rotten and musky until I smelled something more of a lighten smokey scent I went back to Xavier crib and smelt the same scent and shifted back 

"anything?"

I nodded 

"I have her scent i'll get the pack to help me find her don't worry I will get our son back"

I told her as I put on clothes and kissed her head

"I'm coming "

I nodded and we both went to the pack house that we hand build not to far from the Palace, I woke up the strongest members and told them to get ready to travel and they did as told I had everyone pick up the scent and we were all ready to go, I prayed to the moon Goddess that no harm was brought to my son. 

"lets go"

we all shifted as I had Angle on my back as we followed the scent it had seem as she couldn't vanished to far from where she was so her scent was here and there but it continue the same pattern leading us out in an open area away from the kingdoms this land had seem to be untouched, we continue on until we went into a forest which had fog all around it throwing off our scents but I still had a good enough scent to be able to lead the pack members, Just follow me I minded linked everyone as we continued on, I didn't;t know how far we would have to go but I was not resting until my son was back home and safe.

I stopped suddenly as the scent grow stronger and clear smoke can we seen coming from the distance there she was I also picked up the scent of my son, I shifted back after gentle allowing Angel to slide off my back as she handed everyone there clothes

"You guys stay here try to catch any rest and I will let you guys know when to come I only sense her there so unless she vanish away we should be okay"

I said to which everyone nodded I looked over at Angle she had anger and sadness all over her face she looked scary low-key sending shivers down my spine 

"Let's get our baby boy back"
