Hiraga Saito. A seventeen-year-old boy who was in his second year of high school.
Across the board, he was average, except for one simple fact... He had never had a girlfriend in those seventeen years of life, just like a different boy who he would soon come to know well.
Most people thought of Saito as not being the sharpest tool in the shed, but that helped him in the long run since he wasn't really bothered by accidents that happened, and just accepted things fairly quickly.
When he saw that magic was indeed real, with Kai flying around, he made a fuss, but compared to a normal person, he was completely composed.
Before arriving to another world, and becoming Louise's familiar, he was on his way home after having his computer repaired. He was really happy since it had been quite some time since it was last functional.
While walking down a busy street in the middle of Tokyo, he saw something odd. It was an oval green mirror in the middle of the street, and, for some reason, no one else seemed to notice it. He rubbed his eyes before approaching it. Curiosity got the better of him when he touched the mirror, but it quickly reacted to his touch and it seemed to wrap around his hand. The moment he tried to pull his hand out, it started pulling him in.
He screamed for help, but for some reason, no one seemed to notice him. After a moment, all that was left was his computer lying on the ground.
Back where we left off before...
Kai and Saito sat chained to a wall because of their little escape attempt, trying to explain their situation to Louise.
She looked at the two of them, confused. "Earth?"
Kai had an angry look on his face while grabbing at the chains. "Yeah, till we were summoned by you, I was walking around town on Earth."
Saito sat with his legs crossed. "And I was walking around Tokyo, in Japan, on Earth!"
Louise crossed her arms. "I don't believe you two. How could another world exist?"
Widely gesturing about, Kai started to complain. "I don't wanna believe it either! But what I really wanna know is," Kai pulled his new tail from his pants. "Why do I have a tail?!"
"It could be a special power you've gained from becoming a familiar, like how some cat familiars can talk." Louise at least seemed somewhat interested.
Kai let out a disappointed sigh. "Aw man... why couldn't I get anything cool... Anyways it doesn't matter, just send us back to where we came from!"
"Impossible."
"That's bull-" Louise interrupted Kai by throwing her cape onto his face.
"No matter where you come from, the contract is absolute... even if the contract was formed on a different spot..." Louise's face got red as she got annoyed.
"And another thing! You kissed me! That was my first kiss!" Kai was starting to get angrier and angrier.
"You're the one who moved! If you had just stayed still it would have worked out better for us both, you dog!" Louise angrily took off her shirt and skirt, throwing them directly at Kai.
"What the hell are you doing?!" Kai covered his eyes in embarrassment, and Saito quickly did the same.
"I'm getting changed for bed." With a snap of her fingers, the unnatural light in the room dimmed down. It seems that even lights were using magic.
"Don't do that while we're around!" Kai's voice changed from anger to mostly embarrassment.
Louise seemed genuinely confused. "Why?"
