It was the week after nationals and now the team was back in L.A. Abby had a special surprise in store for the girls this week.

"Ready girls? Let's go!" Abby clapped as everyone poured into the studio. "Well, you all thought you were going home after Lake Tahoe and here we are back and L.A."

Melissa, who was now back, was beaming. Robyn was tired, but tried her best to be positive for her daughters. Christi on the other hand was skeptical about why they were there.

"I have a big surprise and it's very exciting. Before I get into that," Abby turned to their headshots. "You notice there's no pyramid. Yes?"

Everyone clapped.

"Everybody is in a straight line cause here in L.A., it's not really about the talent, it's about the look."

Abby: "The girls have some hard lessons to learn here in Hollywood. It doesn't matter how well you dance, how well you sing, and how well you act. If you're not the look that they need, and you're not the package that they're searching for, you're not going to get the job."

"I'm ready to talk a little bit about the surprise. This is L.A. The best people in the world come here. They're all vying for the same job and everybody wants to be a star. You are going to get the opportunity to audition for a major music video!"

The moms smiled. They watched as the girls screamed and hopped around in excitement.

Robyn: "It is such a big deal that the girls get to do this audition. This is Nini's forte and she's a natural at this stuff. However, Layla has never auditioned before, so I'm nervous for her, but this is a great opportunity for both of my girls!"

"I don't know who's going to get it. I don't know if all of you are going to get it or just some of you. It's not up to me. I don't make the decisions, so it's every man for himself. Today, instead of rehearsal, we're going to be doing a class. I'm going to be teaching a hiphop combination since that audition will be hiphop."
