"Your best friend is.. interesting.." Jimin said after a while driving. I smiled slightly and nodded "Yeah.. she is.." I whispered adoringly, a small smile on my lips. It was nice seeing her again. I just hope it won't backfire somehow.
"By the way.." I started, looking at him curiosly "Is Jimin really your real name..?" I asked. He glanced at me, letting out a soft chuckle. "Yeah.." he said, looking back on the road. "I figured.." he paused, glancing at me for a second "I figured you would deserve a bit of the truth as well..".
I gave him a small smile, thankful for his empathy. "It would be great if you won't mention it to the others, though.." he mumbled. I snorted amused, raising an eyebrow at him. "Oh?" I asked, laughing slightly "Did you do something you weren't allowed to do?" I asked sarcastically.
Jimin gave me a look and sighed "I did a lot of things I wasn't allowed to do today.. You know, I'll get probably in just as much trouble as you for visiting your best friend if the others would find out.." he said.
"So.. let's just keep each other's secrets, alright?!" he asked with a cute smile on his lips. I gave him a small smile back, nodding in agreement. He reached his hand out into my direction, holding out his little pinky.
I chuckled as I watched him doing that for the second time today. I shyly wrapped my pinky around his, getting a bright smile from him in return as he shook our hands back and forth, his eyes till on the streets. That was kinda cute.
"Promise?" he asked and I smiled at him, nodding again "Promise..". He let go of my hand, placing his own on top of the shifting gear again. "This also counts for V.. don't tell him.." he said, laughing nervously.
I frowned at him, confused. I wasn't planning on talking to him in the first place, but weren't they supposed to be best friends? Would V really be such an asshole and rat Jimin out if he knew about it?
"Don't you trust him?" I asked hesitantly, curious if Jimin would really expect V to betray him. Jimin chuckled slightly and nodded "It's got nothing to do with trust. I do trust him, blindly, with my whole life.. but.." he pauses, letting out another nervous chuckle "I'm afraid if he finds out that you know my real name.. he would probably want to tell you his as well.." he explained.
"Oh.." I whispered, not expecting that answer. Why would he want to do that, though? "And it will be much harder hiding the fact that you know both our names than just mine.." Jimin added. I nodded slightly, glancing out of the window, thinking.
"But why would he want to tell me his name just because you said yours?" I mumbled confused, glancing at him, curious if he was going to give me an honest answer. "Well.." Jimin started, driving a hand through his hair while his other stayed on the steering wheel, his eyes on the street.
"There are quite a few things to V that most people don't understand.." he explained, confusing me with that sentence even more. Why is he make such a mystery out of him? Couldn't he just give me a normal answer?
I sighed as I turned my gaze back out the window, watching the scenery pass by. I probably won't get a real answer for that question. I wasn't interested in talking about him, again, anyways.
The rest of the car ride was rather silent. It was giving me some time to sort my thoughts about today's events. Well, sorting might not be the right word for the chaos in my head.
Sighing I pulled out my phone, checking the time. Surprised I looked at the new message I got. They were from Jhope.
