15. Lost Puppy

"So.. I'd say we split into three team's" RM said as he glanced at everyone through the round. After we finished our breakfast and cleaned up, all of us sat back down at the table, waiting for RM's instructions. Even though I was only here because where else could I be? It not like I was any help in whatever they were trying to do.

All the members sat there in silence, looking up to RM who was standing in front of the table. "Chimmy.." he began, looking at the blonde "You and JK are going into V's room and try to find a way to hack into his computer.. maybe find out what he's been up to these days and where he could be hiding. Stuff like that.." he demanded, making the two youngest in the room nod.

"Suga and Jhope.." RM continued, glancing back and forth between the two of them "I need you two to go upstairs in the computer room.. hack in every surveillance camera in the area you can find.. street views, shops nearby etc.. maybe you'll find him or his car somewhere.. if not then enlarge the search, expend the area.." he said, making these two nod as well.

Honestly, I was impressed how much control he had over these guys, you could see how much they respected him as a leader. I glanced at the others who were still focused on RM, listening to him like he was some sort of prophet.

"Jin, you and I are going out.. you have to meet our contacts and try to figure out if they know anything, if they have found out who he is and given him a mission without my approval.. be discretely, just like alway's no information about us.. and especially don't show anyone that we're vulnerable at the moment. We will take the van. While you're out there talking to them, I'm trying my best with the setup we have in the van, watching the situation and look if anything seems faulty.." he said, getting a nod from the oldest as well.

"Okay then.." he said as he looked again through the round "Keep on calling him, messaging him.. and if you have any news, clue or lead, message me right away about it, okay?!" he said, getting again a nod from everyone else.

His eyes fell on me and I smiled at him nervously. What was I supposed to do? Go out and shake some snacks while I call out his name? Like searching for a lost puppy. I surely wasn't allowed to go out there with them, meeting the client's, I wasn't allowed to be the whole day on my own either and I couldn't hack, like probably everyone of them could.

I wasn't of any help, all I would do is stand in the way. "How are you feeling? Has your fever cooled down yet?" he asked and I looked at him suprised. He knew? And he cared? Or was it just to find out if I was capable of doing something dumb?

I bit my lip, trying to be just honest with him and nodded slightly "Yeah.. it's a bit better than yesterday.." I said, making him nod. "Is it okay if you just stand by and watch? Just stick to these guy's.. you can go into the computer room and play some videogames while the others hack.. or sleep a bit or watch a movie or something.. just stay nearby the others, okay?" he asked, even though we both knew it wasn't a suggestion but rather a demand.

I nodded, thankful that he at least wouldn't lock me in a room or something. Maybe this could be a good time to snoop around a little when they all are too focused on finding V. But maybe that's exactly what they expect me to do. I know that especially Suga doesn't trust me and he's probably going to keep an eye on me the whole time.

I needed to wait and see how things go, if I'm able to find some things out. The best would be if none of them were here, but how high were the chances that they are ever going to leave me alone in this house?

After they discussed all the small detail's, RM, Jin, Suga and Jhope went upstairs. I was curious about the computer room but decided to stick with Jimin at first, thinking it would cheer him up a bit. Besides, I feel more comfortable around Jimin and JK then Suga, even though Jhope would be there too at least.
