Don't leave!

        You were walking on the golden corridor and admiring the beautiful columns. Loki was walking alongside you, leading you to the grand hall to meet his father, Odin. You already knew Thor and Frigga, who both seemed to like your personality. You were quite nervous to meet Loki's father, but accepted his request when he asked you to go with him on Asgard and meet the king. As your thoughts were distracting you, you weren't looking where you were going anymore, so you tripped and fell on the floor.

Loki raised his eyebrows with an amused look on his face and got on one knee to help you up. He offered you his hand which you gladly accepted and you both got up. Loki asked playfully.

"And what distracted you so much to make you loose your attention on walking?"

"Oh, shut up! Do you know how many nervous butterflies I have in my stomach only because you want me to meet your father?! It's all your fault!" you pout and sink on the floor again like a kindergarten child, crossing arms over your chest and facing him with your back.

Loki sighs in amusement. He approaches you and stops behind you. The god bends over your head, so you both end up seeing each other's face upside down. He looks at you with puppy eyes and you try not to smile by pursing your lips. You turn around, still on the floor, avoiding his gaze. Loki smiles as he straightens his back.

Thinking that he gave up, you relax a little and let your arms fall on your legs. You were wrong. Suddenly, you feel a hand on your back and another underneath your legs. You squeak in surprise as Loki lifts you up bridal style. You look at him only to see the god smirking in satisfaction. You roll your eyes and kiss his cheek. His smirk only widens as he says.

"Oh, look who is suddenly affectionate!" You tilt your head innocently and respond.

"What don't you like it? Then I shall stop!" Loki gasps dramatically and puts you down to pretend that he was shot in the heart. He leans his back on a wall and says dramatically.

"How could you do that?! Now, my heart is broken!" You giggle and approach him. You put your hands around his neck while he places his on your waist and pulls you closer to him. Loki gives you a gentle kiss. You lean your head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat and mutter.

"I am scared about meeting your father. He's a king... a god... and I'm just a normal girl!"

"Well, I'm a god and you don't have any problem with that. It will be fine, I promise."

You look up at him and say.

"I hope so..."

You both return to walking and in a few minutes, you arrive in front of the grand hall. You take a deep breath as the doors open. You feel Loki squeezing your hand a little. You approach the throne where Odin was. You could feel his eyes scanning you with attention and you tense up under his gaze. Finally, you stop a few meters away from him, bowing.

When you raise your heads, Loki speaks up.

"Father, this is Y/n Y/l/n. I wanted you to meet her."

"You brought a human here... and she is even your girlfriend!"

Loki remained quiet and swallowed hard. You frown a little. Odin had so much power over Loki, only one word from him could change everything in Loki. You throw Odin a sharp glare and let go of Loki's hand. You approach him and ask coldly.

"Sorry, but not sorry, to ask. Why can Thor have a human girlfriend without you objecting, while Loki can not? And don't give me the shit with 'Thor is the first born' because it won't work on me."

Loki looked panicked and said quietly while griping your hand.

"Maybe we should go..."

"No! I want to know why!" You turn to Odin who remained quiet. "Well? What is your explanation!?"
