Chapter-03

Meanwhile @jennie's room

Jennie emerged from the bathroom, the warmth of the hot bath still clinging to her skin. Wearing a formal office outfit, she stood before the mirror, combing her hair into an elegant arrangement.

But then, Some voices began—the loud laughter of some peoples that only she could hear. She pressed her palms against her ears, desperate to avoid it and when the situation becomes normal, she gazed at her reflection on the mirror, eyes swollen from tears. Something had shaken her, something she couldn’t quite name. With a determined effort, she began to do some little make-up to hide her swollen face which is red due to crying and put a small smile on her face which is hiding her real face perfectly. After getting ready, she stepped out of her room gently closing the door so as not to disturb the still-sleeping Ara.

Jennie strode toward the living room and saw her father already present there enjoying his morning coffee.

“Did you finally wake up, Dad? You were so lazy to wake up today right?The doctor strictly told you to go to morning walk every morning right? but here you are, denying to go. If you keep this up, I might just resort to splashing water on your face to wake you up!” Jennie threatened with a playful anger Meanwhile, Hyunbin gave a sheepish smile at her.

After sometime Yejin appeared, bearing Jennie’s breakfast and Jennie quickly plopped into a chair, attacking the food as if she hadn’t eaten in days.

“Eat slowly, my dear,” Yejin chuckled. “No one’s going to snatch your meal away.”

Jennie waved her fork dismissively. “It’s not about that, Mom. Ara could wake up any moment, and I need to dash off to office before she does or else you know what will happen right?”

Yejin nodded knowingly.
“I understand." She stated with a chuckle.

"And don’t  spoil Ara too much—no excessive screen time or endless sweets.” Jennie said to her parents with a warn cuz she know they'll surely gonna spoil her daughter at her absence.

Hyunbin chimed in, grinning. “Understood, Your Majesty!”

"Good. She’s getting stubborn, and we can’t let her run the show.”She said with a head shake.

"Then bye mom and dad. See you soon." With a wave, Jennie bid her parents farewell and stepped out of the apartment just to see the opposite apartment which were locked till yesterday were opened and she concluded that it might be the people's who were in the car that she saw in the early morning. But she thought to approach them in the evening after the interview.

Then she hurriedly book a cab for her to go to "kth enterprises", where the interview is supposed to be held.
As Jennie settled into the cab, her mind raced.
Yet, despite the urgency of the moment, memories flooded her thoughts—about a particular someone she hadn’t been able to forget in this four long years. “NINI,” his husky voice echoed in her mind. She glanced around, half-expecting to find him there, but reality snapped back. It was all a hallucination, a cruel trick her mind played.

Blinking back tears, Jennie reminded herself: This wasn’t the time for sadness. Not when her future hung in the balance.

Jennie’s life straddled in the middle of heaven and hell. When she thought of her daughter and her parents, it was pure bliss—a haven of love and acceptance. But whenever she try to be happy, her past life always taunt her in her mind causing her smile to fade away from her face. But she have to leave for her baby who's the only reason for her existence in this world.
Her parents is not less. Hyunbin and Yejin, though not her biological parents, were her lifelines. They’d sheltered her during her darkest days, when she was two months pregnant with Ara.They embraced her as their own daughter, Ara as their precious granddaughter.
Yup...!! Hyunbin and Yejin is not her biological parents.

"Some tragedy got happened in their life that they ended up like this as a beautiful family."

Meanwhile @Lee apartment

After taehyung leaves to his office around 9 PM heesun finally decided to visit their opposite apartment which is belongs to Lee family. She press the calling bell and after sometime someone opened it and asked her:
"Who are you?"A baby voice asked her and she looked down at the owner of the voice just to see a cute little girl standing there while looking at her.
