                                 Chapter 18
              Where Jamal's parents invite Vienna to
                                       Dinner

Vienna snuggled up to her boyfriend; Jamal.
No one knew they were together apart from Jude,Jobe Jamal's teammates Jamal's parents and viennas mom, as her dad wasn't in the picture.

No one could say they were shocked as they all saw it coming, but everyone was so happy for the two.

"Oh yeah, mom is inviting you out for dinner tonight if that's okay with you, just to have dinner" Jamal says putting his phone down

"Just me?" She says laying on his chest

"Yeah,well it's going to be latisha, jerell mom dad me you" he says

"Yeah I'll be there, I haven't seen your parents in ages" she says

"They still talk about you, so when they found out were together they were so happy" jamal smiles

Jamal's smile could light up the hole room it's  so pretty he is so pretty

Vienna smiled and continued to lay on his chest
She wished she could lay there forever.

Jamal left Vienna to get ready for tonight.
Somehow she felt nervous, this was the second time she met his parents and even though they're really nice to her she was still anxious.

She scanned her wardrobe for something appropriate to wear. She's never been to this restaurant before so she didn't know what to expect.

After this day, Jamal never is going to be getting a day off since it's a new football season which made her sad. She offered to watch everyone if she can but some of them is in Spain and France which is just to much, especially when she has her own shop to run.
She knew Jamal and her job was going to clash together but she wanted to at least try to make it work.

Sometimes shed just cry, she wanted to be there for her boyfriend she wanted to be like the other girls, going to every game and be there to support them, wearing their jerseys, going with there friends, she wanted to think she was enough but nothing could convince her she was.

Jamal thought he wasn't enough for her. He wished he could be a better football player and give her what ever she wanted like some of his friends would do for their partners. But he couldn't and I guess he'd just have to forget that.

Vienna drove 15 minutes to this restaurant.
She was surprisingly on time which shocked her, even though when she walked into the restaurant they were all sat down waiting on her arrival.

"Hey" Vienna says walking over to the table

"Viennaa, darling how are you" carolin says getting up from her seat to welcome the girl
Daniel then doing the same

Jamal stayed in his seat watching his parents greet her, he loved watching them all get along.

latisha looked at Jamal with a massive smile on his face
"Damn he really loves her" she whispered to jerell who was colouring on this sheet causing him to look up

Vienna went to sit next to Jamal as there was an empty spot next to him, With jerrell in front of her and latisha sat next to him, and Daniel and carolin on the ends.

"You made it on time for once" Jamal says with a smile

"I'm literally never late" she says with a small laugh

"So what are we ordering then" Daniel says to the table

Vienna looks at the menu and looks at the pasta section and scans for what one she likes

"Let me guess Jamal's getting maultaschen" Latisha says making the hole table to laugh

"Wait they have it" Jamal's eyes widen excitedly

Latisha shrugs

"So, Vienna how's everything" carolin says

"Everything's good, moms busy with her work, I'm just chilling at the moment trying to enjoy the last few days before Jamal leaves for football and stuff" she says

"I'm sure he'll see you whenever he can" she says

"I'll invite you to some games, if I can get box tickets and stuff, you won't miss me much" he says softly squeezing her tight

Vienna enjoyed the night, it was one of the best actually.

"Can't believe it's raining" Vienna says walking out of the restaurant with Jamal behind her

"It's meant to be summer I swear" he says

"But On a serious, thanks for coming I think everyone enjoyed it" he said

"Thanks for inviting me, it was a really fun night" she says hugging Jamal tightly not wanting to let go
