Total Drama: the Comeback

𝐈𝐈 - 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫

A big piece of paper, pens, highlighters, cigarettes, packs of chips, phones, a calendar.
These were the things all around Geoff's and Bridgette's kitchen table.
The fourteen people in the house wanted to discover why Chris chose them, where their next appointment will be and what challenges they will face.
But everything they came up with sounded stupid.

"Maybe this time the season will be on an airplane, like World Tour, and the losers will be pushed off without the parachute... not that they will die, right?"

"I think it will be the film set. Because, you know, Beth was the winner and it was unexpected, Chris surely has something unexpected for us"

This was only two of the non-sensed ideas our guys had. Everytime one of these was mentioned, Geoff wrote it on the paper and when it was proven stupid, he coloured it with the red highlighter, which meant "what the fuck? impossible". They also decided that the yellow highlighter was "could be" and the green one was "bingo".

I carefully listened to the sentences the others pronounced, while I was thinking. When it all went silent, it was like a bulb lit up in my mind.

"It's the island" I said and suddently all the eyes in the room turned to me.

"Let me explain. It must be the island, because it was where it all started. We all partecipated to that season and we are the ones that made Chris start this insane reality. Furthermore, we caused all the drama that probably made Chris addicted to the money and totally crazy, that's the reason he was in jail. This means that he needed more money because of his addiction, and who could he call if not us? " I finished talking and I couldn't really tell if I said some bullshit or something actually right.

"Harold, that could be a good hypothesis, if it wasn't that I didn't participate to the island" Alejandro replied. How could I have been so stupid? I didn't consider the fact that Al didn't show up on the first season.

"Guys, Harold is right" I almost shouted "Alejandro didn't participate to the island, but we can't say he didn't help Chris making money, just remember our final in World Tour when I pushed him in the vulcano"

"If that is a way to compliment me, I accept it" Typical hispanic man behaviour.

"Are we really sure that Chris sent us the video just because he wanted to make more money?" Lindsay asked pretty confused.

There was actually no way that it was the only reason.

But before I could think about anything else, my phone ringed, and so did Lindsay's, Beth's and everyone's who was in the room.

"Do you think is it-" "Yes, it has to be" Courtney didn't let me finish that already answered my question.

"Hello campers! How are you all? After last time, I realized that it wasn't nice to leave you like that, so I decided to record another video-message to explain a little bit of our new and awesome adventure! Aren't you guys happy? Anyways, Camp Wawanaqua, the old cabins, the dock of shame and the boat house can't wait to see you again! I am so excited that our comeback will be there! To make everything cooler, you will stay there for a whole year, facing a new challenge every two days! See? Prison changed me and made me nicer! You won't be stressed every day, but you'll have some to rest, if you know what I mean. Alright guys, time to go! See you soon, remember to come, haha!"
