Befriending Eclipse

At the moment Eclipse was lying on the floor...letting the darkness cast it's dark shadows over him...Eclipses have always had a thing for hiding in the shadows but it was usually because they were being observant...This time...This Eclipse was just staring at the ceiling tiles....

Eclipse jolted up by the sound of a feminine/masculine? Voice.

"Eclipse? Are you okay?."

Now sitting up on his knees
(idk how to word that lol)

He looked up at you and let out a low laugh.

"Ya know I'm used to being the one who scares people but...

He chuckled.

"But this time you scared me..."

After an awkward silence, he asked.

"What do you want?."

You gave a light smile and decided to join him by sitting on the floor next to him.

Eclipse gave you a confused yet slightly judgmental look.

"What are you doing?." He asked, this time a slight growl in his tone.

He wasn't used to people being this close to him...

You looked to him and smiled once more, scooting a little bit closer to him you spoke up.

"I'm sitting....So what are you doing? Is there a reason you're moping in the shadows Eclipse?."

Eclipse scoffed, chuckling a little he repositioned himself into a more comfortable position and you'd noticed that he surprisingly hasn't moved all that far away from you....You decided to not say anything.

"I'm just...Thinking...About...Why I'm here still I suppose..."

Eclipse looked over to you.

"Why are you doing this? I'm the bad guy remember?"

You averted his stare and sighed.

"Yeah, I know but...I don't have any plans for today and well....You look like you could use a friend to talk to if we're being honest."

Eclipse laughed.

"A friend? Really? Like you really want to be my friend I-

Eclipse stood up, attempting to walk away but you grabbed a hold of his arm.

"Wait!." You shouted.

Eclipse's eyes widened, he looked down at you shocked that you were being so persistent at keeping his presence around.

There was an awkward silence between the two of you...

You looked up at his arm and felt your face heat up from embarrassment.

You quickly pulled it away and frowned.

"I'm sorry...I-I didn't mean to-

"It's fine." Eclipse interrupted.

Your eyes widened as his hand lightly brushed across your shoulder...probably an accident but when you gazed up, his hand was held out for you to take.

You looked up at Eclipse and he gave a small smile, it was barely visible, but it was there....

"What?..."

You asked feeling immense confusion.

"You wanted to talk..."

He sighed.

"So let's go and talk..."

You placed your hand in his and Eclipse helped you up, walking over to a pizzaplexs food area (IDK)

The two of you sat down at a counter.

Eclipse examined the machine "Which flavor do you want?" He asked.

You looked up at frowning a bit...You were terrible at making decisions on the spot.

"Um....(Random flavor.)"

Eclipse nodded and made you a slushie.

You took it but couldn't help but feel a little bit surprised...

"Oh uh...Thanks...Eclipse..."

He avoided your gaze.

"No problem...."

He muttered quietly to himself.

"Eclipse!."

You shouted, running up to him and giving him a small hug.

Eclipses eyes widened, he sometimes wondered if he would ever be able to get used to having someone and their affection.

Eclipse gave a light pat to your back and chuckled.

"Hello (Y/n.)....Nice to see you today."

You pulled away from the hug, your eyes beaming with excitement.

"You'll never guess what I did!."

Eclipse pretended to put on an overly excited tone, only for you though...He couldn't be a softy to everyone...

"You and I both know that I'll never guess what. But...I am curious..."

You grabbed hold of both Eclipse's hands and did a happy jump.

"I found you a companion so you won't have to be alone when I'm not with you!."

Eclipse scoffed and gave you a questioning look.

"Companion? What is this....companion?.

The sound of a meow and a purr was heard!.
Eclipse looked at the kitten now rubbing against his leg.

His eyes widened.

"You got me a cat?."

He asked, his expression displaying one of shock.

You nodded.

"Mhm. And you can name them whatever you'd like!."

Eclipse picked up the kitten and it began to purr more, he gave a light smile and looked at you.

He let out a low chuckle.

"Thank you (Y/n.)"
