~Valentino P.O.V
As i walked into the lavish corridor of the hospital, which led to my cabin
"Get me the footage of the day when fire occurred," I demanded to Enzo while entering my cabin
"Sure, Dr"
Enzo answered, excusing himself to move towards his deskAs i sat on mine Chair, while checking some reports of my patients, a notification popped on my cell phone
My fingers eagerly opened the SMS, which was from Enzo
"I pulled up a video where it was painfully obvious that a staff member had deliberately mixed some chemicals, leading to the disastrous fire."
"Unfortunately, the footage didn't provide a clear view of the person's face - all we could see was their back. Based on the limited glimpses the camera captured, I can deduce that the person was female with dark brown hair. However, the question remains: Who could it be?"
I sighed in frustration.
Before I could observe it further, I heard the sound of a twisting door knob of my cabin
As i moved my gaze from my phone towards the cabin
Just by the fragrance, i knew who it was
Eliana
She was wearing casual yet elegant attire
A black pair of trousers with a white button-down shirt. She had her hair down in a neatly low ponytail, not even a single strand out of its place
"Oh, I forgot to knock," Eliana said, standing in the doorway.
"No need for knocking," I replied nonchalantly. "It's only for staff."
"Excuse me? I am a member of staff," she responded.
"Whatever," I said, setting my phone aside. "Just come in."
She entered the room and closed the door behind her.
"I need the reports for patient 208 in room 208," she said, as she moved some reports aside.
I hummed in acknowledgement and grabbed the files
"As Eliana turned to leave, I called out to her, stopping her in her tracks.
"Do you have any suspicions regarding anyone who might have started the fire in the hospital that day?" I asked firmly.
She looked at me, her confusion evident. "Suspicions for what?"
"For the fire, of course," I replied. "Someone intentionally caused the fire, and it was clear from the footage."
It was caused intentionally??? I thought fire occurred because someone mistakenly mixed incorrect chemicals
She stated"It wasn't a mistake," I corrected her. "The fire was not caused by someone accidentally mixing incorrect chemicals. I've examined the security footage, and it shows a staff member starting the fire intentionally."
