As a doctor, I had to attend countless
Patients every day with different types of medication and give them different types of prescriptions. Being a doctor is a very challenging and tough job, yet i love to help them
After attending the last patient of the afternoon hours, i walked out of my cabin to the cafeteria to have some coffee and relax
As i entered the cafeteria, i observed that almost all the seats were empty. Only a few members of staff were there when i walked towards the counter of the cafeteria. i saw a sign "CLOSED"
Arghhh, can't i even have a cup of coffee? i murmured to myself, being tried
I came out of my thoughts when i felt someone calling me
Dr.Eliana...
I turn around to see Rachel coming towards me
Hi Dr.Eliana
Rachel said politely
I nodded as we greeted each other
Sir is calling you in his cabin
Rachel
Why?
I asked, being confused
I have no idea. He just asked me to let you know
Rachel explained
Oh, do we have any surgeries or something today?
I asked Rachel
No, we don't
I gotta leave. i had to check over some patients
Rachel said
Rachel is a nurse in our team of 5 people
She helped and took care of all the patients our team has attended
There are 3 cardiologists in our team. I, Valentino, and Dr. Han
Rachel is a nurse, and the other one is an assistant of us who assisted us during surgery
After a moment, i reached his cabin
Knock knock
Come in
He said
I entered his cabin
He was busy searching something in files
Did you call me Dr.Valentino
I asked politely
Yeah, i did, Dr.Eliana
He said, closing his file and keeping it aside on the table
May i know why
I asked the reason
Were you at the cafeteria before coming here??
He questioned
Yeah, i was
I said nonchalantly
So you definitely know the cafeteria is closed
He said
Yeah, i do, but why is it closed??
I asked, being frustrated
Well, because the chefs are on leave for a week, but we have assigned new chefs, they'll be joining from tomorrow
He explained
Oh, I see Nevermind it's okay
Sigh
If you are on your break right now, we can go for a coffee
Valentino said as he stood and walked towards me
