I stared down at the chaos I had caused, was it worth it? Was it worth all the destruction? Worth all of the lives that were lost? I assume so. I slowly step away from the window, my boots clacking against the hard floor of my fortress, if you could call it that.
"Are you okay Zephrylim?" A servant asks, concern laced into her meaningless words.
"Yes, yes. Do not worry about me." I respond coldly, not giving a care about the person lower than me, the Great Zephrylim, the one who had conquered this dimension.
"Well, someone is here to speak with you on matters important to them, so please meet them in the throne room, they are awaiting you." The lower mortal swiftly exits after her statement, and though her words had no importance to me, I decided to go to the throne room anyway, just to see what the "Matters important" are in the first place. I slowly tread through the hall of the fortress, trying to buy time, because if I took longer, maybe the lower being would leave before I arrived to detest them, but alas, the mortal being was there when I walked in.
"Greetings Zephryl-" Before they finish their blatant sentence, I summon a tentacle from the ground and slam them into a quartz pillar, causing them to yelp pathetically out of pain
"It is 'my leige' to you, puny mortal being." I coldly state, trying to get the idea to stick in it's feeble mind.
"Is that all we are to you? Puny mortals that are stuck in your titanium grip? I will not have-" I slam them into another pillar, causing it to yet again yelp pathetically.
"State your business in my fortification, mortal, before I make you." I sternly exclaim, hoping it'll listen to me.
"We want you to let us go, my leige." It winces as it staggers onto its feet.
"We? There are more of you mortals?" I scoff at the statement of there being more mortals, but I get an idea: "I'll free you and the others... At a price..." I tease, hoping to intice it to take my deal.
"What is it? I'll do anything to win me and my friend's freedom from your grip." It inquires, taking the bait.
"Oh, nothing... Just one little errand, and if you complete said errand, you and the other mortals will be free! Do we have a deal?" I ask, waiting for it to reply to my words.
"Deal."
