HIS Obsession

Chapter 8

Seth eyes pierced on all 5 men present in the room. All hewantedwas to gawk their eyes out but he remains calm on the seat where that filthy chief used to sit.

"Uhh.. Sir can we know why you're here?" One of them said in a feared tone.

"What's your duty?"

They all looked at each other to this obvious question they were in a uniform then why he is asking?

"To catch the criminal and put them behind the bars" he said with a hint of sarcasm then Seth said

"By taking bribes and asking women to spend a night in return to help them?"

They all hunged their head but no one was feeling a slight bit of guilt because they thought they have the power and they can use it any way they want.

But tsk sadly... Seth next line give them a big shock.

"I've talked to the commissioner and He decided to suspend you all"

They were not able to believe that a man who come yesterday can suspend them all. They plead by playing the victim card saying they have family to feed blah blah.

They never thought that their wrong deed will stab them like this until Seth Came.

He gets up from the seat and leaves from there.

Seth came back to his apartment and saw Rose having her breakfast which he made before leaving.

Syrups of a chocolate stained his white T-Shirt which she was wearing. He sighed and get water from the fridge.

"How is it?"

Rose looked at him and lifted her hand showing him '👌🏻' sign.

"I'm going to the grocery store do you wanna come?"

Rose shook her head, getting up to wash her hands.

"Why? Won't you get bored staying here?"

She came to him handing the notepad..

'I'm going to my part time jobs'

Seth looked at the notepad and then said "You really wanna work now? Like you need rest" he looked at the bandages and the purple bruises.

'i'll be fine and I need money'

"Money for what? If you need something tell me I'll get you."

'You said I need rest and here you're taking me out?'

"I'll thought you'll be bored and I can get important things for you but where you want to go is a 'job' where you get headache"

Rose looked at Seth timidly unable to give him any valid reason.

"Get changed to my other T-Shirt and come down"

'okay'

And after a little bit of argument they both went to a store which has almost every necessity.

Rose eyes roamed at everything in the store and why not it's the first time she has come to a place like this it's not too luxurious but decent.

Walking with a trolley Seth said.

"Pick everything you need"

Rose stops walking and looked at him confused obviously she doesn't know.

"Okay I'll pick things and you give me an sign wheather you want it or not"

Rose nodded her head in agreement.

He searched for everything a girl needed and whenever he shows something to her she just nod as Yes. He notices this and sighs....

"This gelet shave guard would be fine for you?"

'Yes'
