Does she feel that much humiliation to put me in this situation? I didn't have any intention towards her, still what made her do this to me?

Is it because I'm an easy target very easy, anyone can put blame and I can't do anything I'm a small worker here plus I can't speak.

Being mute is not less than a curse.

Yes... She said it's me who stoled her necklace. And currently she's sobbing in front of the manager & she called the police too.

I guess I'm getting arrested and getting fired too.

"Yes, what can we do here?"

I see a man in a uniform coming inside the shop.

Huh Jimmy? That man I met in the restaurant when I was with Seth? He's in the police I didn't know that.

"Sir it's her.... It's that lowly girl in the dress"

Said the customer Pointing at me, eyes are filled with hatred. Jimmy eyes landed on me and then he looks outside the shop saying.

"SETH You should handle this"

Tell me he's not here.

Bury me 12 feet under but don't call him. I might die in embarrassment....

What will he think of me I do these types of cheap things to get money.

Bad thoughts were lingering in my mind when a tall figure stood at the gate.

And all I did was lowered my gaze in shame.

I can hear his steps coming close to me. He lifted my chin, looked at my face and said.

"What she has done?"

The manager speek this time instead of that woman.

"My customer has claimed that she's the one who took her necklace"

I couldn't even look into his eyes... I heard his voice saying..

"Did you?"

I tried hard to meet his gaze and shook my head.

'No' Was my answer.

He left my chin and turned towards them and said

My eyes lightened hearing his next words

"She denied"

He believe me?

No

He really did.

"Well the thiefs always denys their sins"

Seth sighed then look at that woman and said in a stern voice

"Did you see her fvckin do that?"

"I.. I no I didn't but most of the times it's always staff members who stole something"

"So you're blaming all the staff members present in this room?"

"No.. I--"

"Okay we'll check everyone" Seth ordered.

Hearing this each staffs got upset cause they all get blamed for something they didn't do. Even the manager seems a bit off.

He questioned the lady

"Ma'am can't we handle this on our own which involves the police, It's now about the shop reputation"

She stayed quiet for a moment then glance at me

"What type of manager you are? I can't find my expensive necklace and here you're thinking about your shop reputation, how ridiculous"

"Jimmy" Seth called

"Yes"

"Call female constables to check everyone"

Just then a staff member said

"I found it"

everyone turned to look at her

She handed it to the woman saying "It was on the stairs of the gate"

"what.. but" she hesitated to say something but stay quiet.

I heard someone muttering  "I'm sure she wanted to frame her because of the incident earlier"

"Hm.. So no one stoled anything let's live  Seth"

"No"

Hm?

"Someone needs an apology"

He pointed towards the customer saying.

"Come here and say sorry to her"

No... He's making the big deal. I tried to say no with my hands but he didn't pay any attention.

"You should've think before saying anything now your paying for your own actions" Jimmy said while Seth keep staring at her.

"Sorry"

"Say properly"

Sometimes Seth's voice do give me goosebumps.

"I'm sorry... I should've controlled my mouth"

I just nodded once. Forgiving her.
