Ashlyn's POV:
Time skip to after they ate:
Aiden, Taylor, Tyler, and Logan were playing games on the Xbox while Ben braided my hair. The room was filled with the sounds of video game effects and laughter. Every so often, I caught Aiden glancing over at me, a playful smile on his face.
Aiden: "Ash... Ash... Ashyyyyy," he said in an annoying tone, trying to get my attention.
I rolled my eyes but couldn't help smiling. "What!?"
Aiden: "How come you never let me do your hair?"
"Because last time I let you braid my hair, it took me forever to untangle it!"
Aiden pretended to be hurt. "I promise I'll do better next time!"
"Maybe next time," I said, giving him a teasing look.
Everyone laughed, and we continued chatting and playing games. An hour later, we were all lying down, getting ready to sleep: As we settled into our sleeping bags, Aiden ended up lying down next to me.
Aiden: "How are y'all so tired already?"
Ashlyn: "Because... it's 2 in the morning. I'm usually asleep way before 11!"
Aiden chuckled. "I guess I'm just too excited to sleep."
I smiled at him. "Well, try to get some rest...."
He nodded, and there was a comfortable silence between us. I could feel the warmth of his presence next to me, and it felt nice
The next day I woke up to everyone giggling then I noticed Aiden was hugging me in his sleep..
Taylor: "Good morning sleepyhead!"
"What time is it...?" I said in a tired tone
Logan: "its almost 10:00 and your dad's here to pick all of us up so tell ben and aiden bye!"
