I decided to change things up a little for this episode. Instead of Aiden or Ashlyn's pov im using Taylor's pov.
Taylor's POV:
Monday Morning:
I walked into school, my backpack slung over one shoulder, ready to take on the week. The halls were buzzing with students catching up on their weekend adventures. I spotted Aiden and Ashlyn by their lockers, exchanging shy smiles. Looks like something happened over the weekend that everyone was talking about.
Taylor: "Morning, lovebirds!" I called out, grinning as I approached them.
Aiden: "Morning, Taylor," Aiden replied, rolling his eyes but smiling.
Ashlyn: "Hey, Tay," Ashlyn said, her cheeks turning a slight shade of pink.
Taylor: "So, any plans for this week?" I asked, winking at Ashlyn.
Ashlyn: "Not much, just the usual," she replied, though her smile hinted at something more.
Aiden: "Same here, just trying to survive another week," he joked.
Monday Morning Classes:
We had a surprise pop quiz in math, which was brutal. I could see the collective groans and sighs from my classmates as we all tried to tackle the unexpected challenge. Logan seemed to be doing okay, but Aiden looked like he was struggling.
Mr. Thomas: "Remember to review your notes regularly, everyone," Mr. Thomas said as he collected our quizzes.
Monday Lunch:
We all gathered at our usual table in the cafeteria. Tyler was already digging into his food, while Logan and Ben were debating the best video game strategies.
Tyler: "So, any plans for the weekend?" he asked between bites.
Ashlyn: "Maybe we could go to the park again," Ashlyn suggested. "It was fun last time."
Aiden: "Yeah, sounds good. We could bring a soccer ball this time."
Monday Afternoon Classes:
During group project time in science class, Tyler managed to knock over a beaker of...something. It spilled everywhere, causing a small commotion.
Mr. Thomas: "Tyler, be more careful!" Mr. Thomas exclaimed, trying to clean up the mess.
Tyler: "Sorry, Mr. Thomas," Tyler mumbled, looking sheepish.
Taylor: "Nice going, Ty," I whispered, giving him a playful nudge.
Tyler: "Hey, it wasn't all my fault," he whispered back, grinning.
Monday After School:
Finally, the school day ended. We gathered outside, making plans for Sunday at the park.
Taylor: "So, what should we bring on Sunday?" I asked, looking around the group.
Tyler: "Snacks. Lots of snacks," Tyler said, causing everyone to laugh.
Logan: "And maybe some blankets for a picnic," Logan suggested.
Aiden: "Sounds good. Let's meet at the usual spot around noon?" Aiden proposed.
Ashlyn: "Perfect. See you all then," Ashlyn agreed, her eyes meeting Aiden's for a brief moment.
As we parted ways, I couldn't help but feel grateful for our little group. We might tease each other endlessly, but we had each other's backs. And who knows? Maybe something special was blossoming between Aiden and Ashlyn.
