"Finally!" You cheered after cleaning up the last trash beast. The area has been swarming with them as of late.

"Lousy rodents. I hate them so much."

You dusted yourself off, along with your Jinki, which is a doll. As the dust subsided from both yourself and your Jinki, you brought out a rang to polish its eyes.

You breathed onto the eyes and began to wipe it. As you were finishing up, you noticed someone's reflection in the eyes of your Jinki.

It was Enjin.

You leaped forward, startled by his successful attempt to scare you. He covered his mouth, letting out a muffled laugh.

"Don't you have anything better to do?" You asked, with an annoyed tone.

"Were finished neutralizing the trash beasts. So I guess... no!" He replied.

"Well quit it with your shenanigans, it's too hot for all that jumping." You groaned as you used your shirt to fan yourself. "I used up all my energy on the trash beast."

"It's not that hot." Enjin disagreed as he leaned on his Jinki, Umbreaker. "Being than the pouring rain, of trash showers."

"Trash showers such, but I'll take a rainy day over a scorching one any day."

"Guess we don't have much in common."

"Guess we don't..." You said with sweat dripping down your face. "Be a dear and use your umbrella to shade me."

"Nah."

"Please."

"Hmm..."

"Pretty please~."

"Fine."

Enjin straightened himself up and lifted his Jinki, opening the canopy as its supported by the stretchers. You quickly rushed to the shaded spot and sighing as you had a spot to cool off.

"You can make wind currents right, conjure up some please."

"Let's head back to HQ." Enjin suggested as he began to walk towards the car. You followed, not wanting to lose your shaded spot.

The car ride was quite long, but the two of you still haven't made it back to HQ. Enjin drove the car, while you were seated in the passenger seat. The two of you was alone in the car. After some time, you made it to Hole Town. The two of you decided to take a break, and grab something to eat. A while later, the two of you decided to depart.

Just before that, you spotted a sweet shop.

"Hey Enjin, let's stop by over there and get something for everyone." You pointed, heading towards the shop. "Rudo will definitely be happy."

The two of you purchased a few, well a lot of things, and packed it into the car. The two of you took your seats and took off.

On the way, you took a piece of cake and started stuffing your face. It was so sweet that you took another, and another, causing you to finish the whole cake.

"Look at you, there's icing all over your face."

"Ah sorry, it's so good. I hope I didn't make a mess." You open the car compartment and searched for some wipes. You used the wipe to rub around your face.

"Here, you missed a spot." Enjin stretched out his hand, resting it on your cheek, using his thumb to wipe away the remaining spot of icing.

"Ah, thanks." You mumbled, turning you head towards the window. You cheeks began to emanate a tint of pink, slowly turning red. Enjin hand still was placed on your cheek. You questioned if his eyes were still on the road, or maybe... on you.

"(Name)..." Enjin spoke. "(Name), look at me."

As he called your name. You noticed the car had stopped. Enjin leaned in, slowly turning your head, guiding your eyes to his. Your face squeezed up, Enjin moved his fingers to your chin, tilting your head up. He placed his thumb on your lip, rubbing it.

"What're you doing..?" You mumbled.

"You missed a spot. Just getting it for ya!" He said grinning. He took his hand back, placing his thumb on his tongue. "Wow, this is good." He started up the car. He smacked his tongue against the top his mouth, making a clicking sound.

"I definitely should try the other when we get back. Right, (name)-?" He paused as he saw you. You seemed to have passed out, or maybe just dissociated.

"I guess they fell asleep, weird, just started the car."
