"home sweet home," i said as i was walked out of the airport and into the fresh la air.

the sun was just starting to set over the city and the air had a distinct warmth to it. i took a deep breath, feeling a sense of familiarity and comfort as i looked around.

callum who stood close by holding onto bear's leash and his own suitcase cleared his throat. "that's us." he said as he pointed towards the black escalade.

we made our way over and the driver opened the trunk and started loading our bags.

i turned back to callum, who was still holding onto bear. "do you want to sit up front?" i asked.

callum shook his head. "no, you take the front. i'll be fine in the back with bear." he said with a smile.

"you know i can't believe how close you two have gotten." i admitted as i looked at him.

"yeah, we've bonded," callum agreed, ruffling bear's fur affectionately. "he's a good pup. a little chaotic, but what can ya do?"

i smiled, shaking my head as we continued to walk towards the car. "well, i'm glad you've found a canine companion to bond with." i teased, throwing a playful jab at his love for dogs.

"you found." he corrected.

i laughed, knowing he was right. "okay, okay, you got me." i said, holding my hands up in mock surrender. "i'm the one who found bear."

as we walked in, i sighed as it was pitch black. i made my way over to the light switch and turned it on only to be met by yells and confetti. i jumped back into callum's chest as i was scared by the unexpected party.

"welcome back bitch!" khloé yelled.

a mix of surprise and joy washed over me as i realized what was happening. i was surrounded by my closest friends and family, all of whom were there to welcome me home.

"oh my god! you guys!" i exclaimed, feeling overwhelmed and happy. i looked around at everyone, my heart full.

my gaze fell on khloé, who was standing front and center, a wide grin on her face. "you scared the hell out of me!" i laughed, still feeling the adrenaline rush from the surprise.

khloé chuckled, clearly pleased with the reaction she got from me. "that was the plan," she joked. "we wanted to make your return memorable."

my dog bear had followed us into the house and was now pacing around and barking, clearly confused by all the commotion. "oh, bear!" i reached down and picked him up, trying to comfort him. "it's okay, buddy, it's just a party."

kendall stepped closer and smiled at bear. "is this the famous bear?" she said, her voice soothing.

i laughed, feeling a sense of pride as i held my dog, he was pretty big though i still held him like a puppy. "yep, this is bear. the one and only." i said, rubbing his head gently.

"i'm gonna put your bags in your room." callum said in my ear.

i nodded, grateful for his thoughtfulness. "thanks, i appreciate it." i replied, still focusing on greeting my guests.
