...
I can't see...
Why's it so dark?
The ground feels so...wet
The space ahead of me is black...
The water below me is black...
What's going on?
I don't feel safe...
Where's Lulu?
I look around for what seems like forever. Looking for a person, a door, a light, anything.
I then look back in front of me and jump back a bit.
There's a...girl? A thing...a monster, in front of me.
Its face is all black, its eyes are wide, its pulps are pitch black, its mouth is agape, and its hair is pitch black and covers its entire head.
What is that?
Before I can scream, react, or do anything it lunges at me and I'm suddenly at a morgue.
Two men are talking and pacing tools to one another. I can't hear them but I can make out some words as I approach them. "...how...was...bottom...lake...?" "Two...at least..."
I approach them and get on my tip toes to look at both of them before I look at the table.
I screamed in terror when I saw the girl I had just seen earlier looking right at me, but her pulpits were bloodshot and she was screaming. The scare causes me to fall back.
I'm suddenly in a corridor of the hospital. My hand is gripping my IV pole as I try to study my breathing.
Once my breathing returns to normal-ish I begin slowly walking down the corridor. I can't just sit in the middle of the hallway forever...
The windows are pitch black, no stars, no city lights, and no moon in the sky, yet the hallway is somehow dimly lit.
I occasionally look behind me to make sure no one is there or anyone is running after me.
I pass about eight doors before I hear a soft,
"Behind you."
My grip on my IV pole tightens as the hair on the back of my neck stands and I'm paralyzed with fear while bloodcurdling screams fill my ears
The screams, the whispers, and my fear should have given me the strength to begin running and at least make an attempt to survive. But even when all of this was happening, I simply closed my eyes and pressed my lips into a thin line.
The screams get closer and closer until voices and murmurs fill my ears. I open my eyes to find myself on the rooftop of some building. I look over and there's a group of people.
I slowly got up and headed over to them. They're all looking down over the balcony. I look over and cover my mouth immediately.
There lies me and Lulu. We're holding hands as blood seeps out from underneath us. I'm facing the ground while Lulu is facing the sky.
Lulu's whole appearance from her wild, brown hair to her dark skin changes into the girl I just saw. My vision goes white there's a loud ringing before my vision returns and I'm back in the morgue.
The endless draws of dead people stand in front of me. I look around before I slowly make my way towards them. Looking at all the names.
I don't know why...but I have this feeling, this urge, to search all the name labels. I don't know who I'm looking for but I'm searching.
There are names of people I know and people I've never even met before. No matter how many names I see that I recognize, they're not the ones I'm looking for.
I'm halfway through all the labels and I'm beginning to get tired when two draws, one with Koco on the label and the other one were smudged and scratched out.
These are the ones, I suppose because I don't have the desire to search anymore.
I open the Koco one and grip the handle to suppress my scream. The "person" inside is me and Lulu. But we're merged, the left half is me, and the other half is Lulu.
As I gaze upon the being I realize that our right hand is holding another hand. The other hand is disappearing into the next draw through a whole.
I opened the other drawer and I had to suppress my fear when I saw the girl I'd been running from.
Her eyes were closed and she looked...peaceful...I slowly close both draws, careful not to wake the girl before I let go of the handles.
I stand back and sigh before I'm snatched up, a hand covering my mouth to muffle my screams as I kick and squirm.
The two men I saw earlier prepping the girl are strapping me down to a board as I scream and cry from fear.
I continue screaming as they finish and push me into the incinerator. I hear them pushing buttons before it's turned on and it starts to heat up.
I scream, cry, and try to escape but they have me strapped down good. I can do nothing but sit there as the tight space gets hotter and hotter and my body feels uncontrollable heat.
As the heat became more and more unbearable I closed my eyes and accepted death but I shot up from my sleep in a cold sweat
The moon's peeing through the window as I catch my breath. I've been having these never-ending dreams where A woman or girl or something with long, messy, black hair and wide bloodshot eyes with the darkest pupils is haunting me, showing up everywhere I go and turning in these dreams.
I take a deep, shaky breath before I turn to the bedside table grab the cup of water one of the nurses left for me, and take a long-needed sip.
After I finish the water I sigh and bring my knees to my chest before I run my finger through my hair.
Back to what I was saying, the girl has been tormenting me for about the past seven months.
She began appearing now and then but then she became a reappearing person in my dreams.
It got to the point where I was scared to go to sleep cause I knew she'd be there waiting for me...
The doctors and nurses have told me that I need to start sleeping again, but it's so hard when I know what'll be waiting for me once I get to sleep. So that was easier said than done.
I stay with my face buried in my knees before I raise my head with a sigh. I looked up and jumped when I saw her at the end of my bed staring right at me.
...
Oh shit.
