"Looks like someone's so happy, is it going well dad?" Dylan asked his dad who is just got home
"Does it look so obvious, son?" Thea (Michael) answered, blushing
"So, how is it going? the guy at work that you were talking about? everything went well?" Dylan asked nervously
"Well, I know him for a while now. He's around your age, I think. He's so kind and pretty sure is a good guy" Thea (Michael) answered
"And...??" Dylan interupted
"And I am pretty sure that we're going be a good couple, I guess?" Thea (Michael) said shyly
"Couple? as in going out with this guy? You two just went on your first date and already in a relationship? let alone this guy is around my age, dad are you out of your mind?" Dylan asked, looking so upset
"This guy has a name, son! It's Kevin. And I am biologically now younger than him, so there's nothing wrong with it, okay? Besides, I already know him from work, we work together for a few years now, I know he is a good guy" Thea (Michael) explained
"Anyway, why you look so upset? you are the one who encouraged me to go on this date" Thea (Michael) added
"Well, I didn't expect you guys will go this far in this first date. I am just pretending to be a supportive son, knowing your hard times after the "great shift". But I cannot lie to my self again, I think I like you dad! You're definitely turning into my type of a girl. I am really upset that this guy can be in a relationship with you, while me, on the other hand, can not... because you are my dad, it's just so wrong" Dylan confessed his feelings to his dad
"I am sorry dad, I know it's unappropriate for me to say those things. But, not just you and mom, I'm having a hard time as well after the great shift, it's been very awkward everytime we're alone in the same room and I've been suppressed my feelings towards you for so long that I cannot hold it anymore" Dylan added
"Thank you for opening up about your feelings to me, son. I am very sorry to make you feel uncomfortable, but I didn't ask to be put in this body as well. Sorry I never asked you how you feel this entire time" Thea (Michael) said
"I'm feeling lonely dad, we used to have good times together, you, me.. and mom. But no one's gonna be around here anymore, you have a boyfriend, mom have her new husband and kids..." Dylan said, tears falling down his cheek.
"Listen, son.. Dylan.. I am really sorry to make you feel lonely this entire time. From now on, if you are feeling lonely, just tell me, okay? We can have a good time together again like we used to do back then" Thea (Michael) said, trying to console her son
"Thank you dad, sure I'll tell you next time I am ever feeling lonely again" Dylan answered
"And maybe while we're going out together, you can pretend that I am girlfriend? you said that I am your type, right?" Thea (Michael) said, teasing her son
"Ahh I must be out of my mind saying things like that my own son" Thea (Michael) said in her mind
"Alright, let's open up a bottle of alcohol to lighten up the mood, shall we?" Thea (Michael) said, trying to break the silence
