5.) More Then Your Friend

Dana POV:
I woke up and checked my phone. 8:39am, perfect

I got out of bed and made the bed because I'm a guest here, and I would feel bad if I didn't.

I decided to make breakfast for myself and Rhea, to repay her for taking such good care of me.

I decided to make egg and cheese omelets

As I was in the middle of making them I heard a door open.

"Smells amazing." Rhea said

God her morning voice was so sexy

"You really didn't have to do this" She hopped onto the counter next to me.

"It's the least I could do Rhea." I smiled at her

"Please call me Demi. Rhea makes me feel like I'm at work all the time"

Honestly I forgot Rhea wasn't her real name.

"What's your name, since we are on the topic" Rhea questioned

"Julianna, but you can call me Julie or Anna." I looked up at her.

She hopped off the counter. "What about Jules? That's a really cute nickname.

"Only if I can call you Dems."

"Deal"

We sat down and ate, talking mostly about work.

She looked at the time and jumped up.

"Shit! I have an appointment in 10 minutes! I'll text you when I can Jules."

She stumbled to grab her keys and head out.

"Okay bye Dems!" I said as I grabbed our plates.

Demis POV:

As I was driving to my appointment I thought about Jules

I had massive feelings for her and I want to tell her

The only problem was that she probably wouldn't feel the same.

I decided to get her some stuff on my way back.

I walked into the office and met up with Bryan.

"Hello Demi how are you? Please have a seat." Bryan said with a smile

"Hey Bryan I'm well how are you?" I sat down.

"I'm fine. Is there anything you wanted to talk about specifically in this session? Also have you been taking those meds I prescribed?" He got out his notes.

"I have been, and yes. I want to talk to you about this girl. Her name is Julianna, and I think I have feelings for her, I just don't know how to go about it."

I ramble on about the chamber, the hospital, and at my house.

He finished writing and looks at me.

"Demi. By the way you talk about her, it really seems like you really like her. My advice would be to sit down with her and tell her these feelings. Tell her how she makes you feel and what she feels about you."

I smiled and nodded my head

"Unfortunately we are out of time. Let me know how it goes." He got up

"I will, thank you Bryan." I got up too and headed out.

I stopped by the nearest shop

My phone pinged and I saw it was Jules.

Jules ⭐️🩷: Hey how's it going?

Me: Good. I will be back in a few :)

Jules ⭐️🩷: That's good because I miss you.

My heart skipped a beat

Me: I miss you more. Be back soon

I damn near fainted in the shops

I got her flowers, and a card

I payed and got back in my truck

I grabbed a pen and wrote in the card:

I am so grateful for you and you make me so happy. Thank you for being here when I needed it. I really like you and would like to be more than your friend. You're kind, funny and so beautiful.

Will you be my girlfriend?

I was proud of my work and put it in the pink envelope and put her name on the front.

I grew really nervous driving home. What if she doesn't feel the same? What if she leaves? What if she says we can't be friends anymore?

I got home and knocked on the door, quickly hiding the stuff behind my back.

The door opened and there stood Jules.

"I have something for you" I say.
