5. Aftermath of an eventful morning.

Seeing Autumn smirk after beating Kenny till he was on the ground made me a little bit relieved and with a little of pain because of how hard Kenny pulled at my hair but that was my least of worries since all I could think about was about the magical kiss I just had with Reece

Reece was looking at me with a worried look so I decided to look away and move away because he was still grabbing me by my hip

Are you okay Marj? - Reece asked looking at me still worried I was so surprised because I definitely wasn't expecting that to be his first thing to ask me

Yeah yeah I'm okay just with a little bit of a headache but it's okay - I said looking at him and seeing his face relax after that - I'm sorry Reece for the kiss but I knew that was the best way to shut him up and get him off my case since he keeps asking for another date - I say rolling my eyes

Marj you don't have to apologize for nothing and especially when I know that creep and beside I would do anything for you - he said with a wink that made me go weak

Not to interrupt whatever this is but let's go - Autumn said looking at me knowing that this is going to be an awkward conversation and she didn't want to hear that

At the office

Hey Aut just out of curiosity why was Reece with you this morning? - I ask trying not to sound so noisy

His car was in the mechanic in the morning so he asked me for a ride and I told him I was going to give you ride and apparently that was a plus to him - she said as she started to look at me making me blush a little- But talking about this morning so what did you know who want know? - she said and I could feel my eyes rolling

Same as last time but am okay - I said with an reassuring smile

Marjorie please if it warrant for Reese and I this would've been something more than just a tug of hair you do know that right?— Autumn said, looking at me waiting for response and even though I wanted to disagree with her really knew that she was right I was pretty lucky that she was on her way, but I can't imagine what would have happened if they weren't there for me

I know you're right Autumn but what do you want me to do and can't just move and leave everything behind plus it isn't like I have any family to rely on. and plus I really do love my place. I don't know what should I do?- I said just zoning out after that I only realize that Autumn was talking to me when she put her hand on my shoulder to grab my attention

Let's not jump to conclusions. I'll stay with you tonight and we'll see if this becomes a reoccurring thing or that if he's smart enough, he knows how to get a hint after all, he did end up, knocked out after the stunt. He pulled today and plus he still thinks you have a boyfriend - Autumn said I started chuckling at the comment she made and at the same time blushed a little at the last thing she said

I think Winter can last one night without me plus he will be getting a reward after- Autumn cell smiling, looking over at Marjorie, and seeing her face now was full of disgust which made her chuckle

Really autumn was that really necessary. I did not want to hear about your passionate night.- I said looking at her at that time an email came through to my computer - well lucky for you autumn since you're in such a jokester mood you have to cover at the baby room for one of the staff that are leaving early today so good luck with that. - I said watching her smile fade away which made me burst out and laughter as I saw her leave the office

It was funny how after such a horrible morning with Kenny, the aftermath made me feel so giddy, and after that kiss with Reese, it made it all worth it in a way, but it's too bad. That was my first and last time kissing me since I am just a distraction for him. I can't help think about that evening in the car park if I was just a distraction for him why would he help me? Why would he take me to hospital? I had so many questions which would never be answered since I'm trying to avoid any other interaction with Reese. In that moment, she was reliving the passionate kiss that made her feel so loved from man that doesn't even know how much she loves him and can't be with. Which made her feel so empty and lonely but when she snapped to reality, she heard knock on her office door without thinking twice she let them enter not knowing it was...
