Raunak's POV

I woke up with a sense of anticipation, the promise of a new day exciting me. College was beginning to feel like a second home, and the thought of new experiences and friendships filled me with energy. As I got ready, my mind wandered to the talent show from the night before. The applause, the appreciation—I felt like I was on top of the world.

I grabbed my bag and stepped out into the bustling streets of Mumbai. The air was crisp, the city alive with its usual chaos. The familiar hum of traffic and the scent of street food vendors greeted me as I made my way to college. Today was going to be another day of classes, but the excitement of yesterday still lingered. When I arrived at the campus, the energy was infectious. Students were everywhere, laughing, chatting, rushing to their classes. I headed straight to the canteen, hoping to grab a quick breakfast before my first lecture. As I walked in, I spotted Harsh at our usual table, waving me over.

"Raunak, yahan aaja! Ek surprise hai tere liye," Harsh called out, a mischievous grin on his face.

I raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Surprise? Kaisa surprise?"

Before Harsh could reply, I felt a tap on my shoulder. Turning around, I saw a familiar face that I hadn't seen in days. It was Savash, my friend, who had moved away to another city after high school.

"Surprise!" Savash exclaimed, his face breaking into a wide smile.

I stared at him in disbelief for a moment before pulling him into a tight hug. "Arre, Savash! Tu yahan kaise? Aur kab?"

"Kal raat ko aaya, aur socha tujhe surprise doo," he said, laughing.

Harsh chuckled, watching our reunion. "Maine pehle hi bola tha, na?"

I couldn't believe it. "Lekin tu yahan kya kar raha hai? Aur kahan se?"

"Main yahan engineering karne aaya hoon, Raunak. Same college mein admission liya hai," he explained, his eyes twinkling with excitement.

This was the best news I'd heard in a long time. "Yaar, yeh toh kamaal ho gaya! College aur bhi interesting ho jayega ab."

We spent the next few minutes catching up, the excitement of our reunion making the time fly. Savash and I had been inseparable during our school days, and having him here now felt like a piece of home had come back to me.

"Chal, pehle breakfast karte hain. Fir classes bhi hain," Harsh suggested, pulling us back to reality.

The canteen was buzzing with students, the aroma of fresh food wafting through the air. We grabbed our plates and sat down, the conversation flowing easily as we talked about old times and new plans. The camaraderie between us felt as strong as ever.
