Why?

Naini POV
I said bye to Cubo and went to office because I have an important contract to draw. VB fashion and RGI in collaboration are launching a worldwide restaurant themed with different era's and types of clothes. We need to finalize the deal this week and launch will be next month so I was planning on first meeting Vikky to know the partnership details then twist them to make more profit for us and draft the contract. I entered Vikky's room and saw that he wasn't alone as I expected, there was a beautiful young lady and a handsome young man sitting with him. They turned to me as I walked in.
"Naini! Good that your here we were waiting for you!" Vikky said.
"Nice to finnally meet you in person Miss. Sharma. I have heard a LOT about you" the man stood up and extended his hand to me. "I'm Mayur Rana. Me and my sister Devika Rana will be the in charge of this merger with VB fashion."
I wasn't surprised that he sent his siblings instead of coming himself he was a coward after all. I shook Mayur's hand my face blank with no expression and turned to Devika to shake her hand but she unexpectedly pulled me into a hug and whispered.
"Hi bhabhi. I am sorry for my big brother's mistake, I have been dying to meet for years now."
"We are here for business purposes only Ms. Rana, I have no interest to have any connections to Rana's outside business " I said and mentioned them to sit and I myself sat on one of the chairs present.
"Okayyy then... Let's get to the business then." Vikky said while clapping his hands.
After an hour of discussion, I concluded with 5 things.
1. The merger is in 55%-45% partnership. Where VB fashion owns 55%.
2. The raw materials will be brought by RGI and VB fashion will make the design and decore in all of the restaurants and decide the head manager of each.
3. Mayur Rana and Devika Rana will be representatives of this project and will be full and solely responsible for profit or loss.
4. VB fashion won't be facing any loss even if this merger fails.
5. The last one is a personal conclusion that states all the Rana's still believe that there is a future where me and Reyansh will be together.

After the meeting I went to my private office room in the building to write the draft and Mayur followed me.
"What do you want Mr. Rana?" I asked when he entered my room behind me.
"I want to be present when you draft the deal cause this is the first time I am giving this big responsibility and I want this to be a success." He said so I let him sit in my office while I worked on the draft. When I completed it I showed it to him and he was ok with it. So I mailed it to Vikky and Mayur. That's when he spoke up.
"You know my brother missed you every day all these years?" He said.
"Ya? I don't think so, cause he broke up over a text with me" I stated.
"Actually I was the one who sent it. I only did it because bhaiya asked me to, and I didn't know the reason why I was told do it." He said and that broke my heart even more..
"What the F? He didn't even think I deserved a message personally sent by him? He ASKED you to do it? Was I that worthless?" I shouted and got up to leave this place.
But then I see him standing at the door. He heard the whole convo.
"I asked him to because it would have broken my heart even more to say goodbye to you" Reyansh said with tears in his eyes.
"Why? Why come back now?!!" She asked with tears in her eyes
"Because I can't continue lying" He replied with a deep voice. "I can't pretend I don't not loving you anymore"
And I left and went to Vikky's room. He saw me didn't say a word, just hugged me and took me home. While I was crying Vikky said bye and went to get ready for his dinner with Tristi and Shailu was cuddling me to help.
