Just normal day

Naini POV
I woke up, got ready, did some paper work and was talking to Shailu and Tristi to come over for lunch when I got a call from Vikky.
"Yes sir what can I help you with today" I asked in a very receptionist tone to Mock him.
"Haha not funny Nina but I need you to come to the ZOL hospital as soon as you can. There is an emergency." He sounded like he has the weight of a mountain on a shoulder and feels very tired.
"I'll be there in 30 mins, whatever it is just hold on." I got up and immediately left for ZOL hospital.
I arrived in 25 mins and immediately found Vikky sitting in the waiting hall looking tensed.
"What the fuck happened? Why are we at a hospital and why do you look scared?" I couldn't stop myself from demanding answers.
"Ok DON'T freak out but my friend has been shot and also he killed someone." Vikky said in low voice. "Look it's complicated but I need your help to make the scene believed as he killed that man in self-defense and by mistake."
"Ok but I need that man's details, where this happened and also why was your friend targeted" I started thinking of a solution for this.
"I'll mail them to you in 5 minutes. One more request please " he looked soo scared I just want to hug him and comfort him.
"What is it?" I asked him trying to sooth him with my  tone rubbing his arm.
"Stay here and wait for what they'll say about patient in room no 3.. I'll go home fresh up and bring fresh pair for him... Please 🥺" he was begging.
"Of course! Go home eat and fresh up. I'll be here . Go" and he went. As promised I got all the details in 5 minutes, apparently his friend was in a club that night and this man was one of the bar tenders working there. So I made a story case that the bartender was a drug dealer and when his friend confronted him he started attacking him and also try to shoot him so in defence is friend was going to shoot to harm him but unfortunately the man died.
I spoke to the family of the bartender and offered them half million for this lie and the agreed so I filed the case but I didn't know Vikky's friend name so I left a blank line there and just as I closed the laptop I saw the doctor coming out of room no 3 and went to ask about patient details.
"Hi doctor, how is he" I asked gesturing to the room
"Out of danger and unconscious he will wake up in 1 hour. He's a strong man" doctor said and left. I went and got myself a coffee then called my besties and cancelled the lunch plan and waited for Vikky. Half an hour later he arrived looking much better .
"Here is the case file and details but the blanks are the name of your friend you forgot to tell me his name but I promise the family half a million make sure they get the money" handing him the file.
"Right! Sorry I forgot, he is Reyansh Rana." He said smiling because I cleared his mess yet again.
"Oh the guy who hides behind the mask?" Knowing well that the CEO of RGI is powerful and respected among all but never shows his face, there are rumours that he has burnt face and that's the reason he hides it but no one knows the real reason and his mask is oddly familiar to me some how.
"I still don't understand why he wears that mask, his reason is soo silly " Vikky say in a deep thought.
"Well... Now that's out of way what more do you need?" I want to go home and read the new book about shape shifting dragons.
"Lunch? It's already 1 and I haven't eaten anything" he asked
"Fine but the Bill is on me" I stated and he knows not to argue.
We went out and had lunch and as usual there was press trying to get pictures of me and Vicky together and spread new rumours. But we avoided them though I don't give a dam about press I do not need my parents to push me towards a new guy when I clearly told them I don't want anybody.
My only thought being so much for a normal just normal day!.....
