Becky spoke Freen with a weak voice. Freen didn't say anything and drove to a quiet place, a lake.
They sat on the bench when they arrived at the lake.
"Are you sulking?"
They both asked at the same time. Freen sighed and,
"I'm sorry for not trusting you... Beck..."
Becky sighed and... Freen suddenly asked,
"Can I ask who is he?"
"He is Harrid... And..."
She replied quietly. Freen was paying all her attention to Becky.
"And he is just my old friend. You haven't seen him cause he just moved here"
"Huh...? Really?? But why did he wipe your hand??"
Becky sighed and,
"Because we are just close friends but not lovers"
Freen sighed and suddenly Becky faced Freen and,
"How about you and Khun Nok??"
"It's just a business dinner"
"But it seemed like more than just a business dinner"
Freen frowned then,
"It really was just business, Becky. Why does it bother you so much?"
"Because I can't stand seeing you with someone else..."
"Why??"
"It made me realize something... Maybe jealously??"
Becky's voice was too loud. And Freen was surprised.
"Why are you jealous?"
Freen asked like an idiot even she knew why.
"I... I... I like you, Phi Freen"
Becky just confessed her feelings and she closed her mouth. Becky's mind – "I talk too much". Freen giggled,
"I like you too, dumbass"
"It's not just like that... I mean..."
Freen stared at her innocently and then Becky sighed,
"I feel like... things are changing, Phi. Between us"
"What do you mean??"
Freen asked... Becky began slowly,
"You know how I feel about you but sometimes if feels like you're holding back"
Freen was quiet then she looked down her hands,
"I care about you deeply, Nong. You mean a lot to me..."
Becky nodded and,
"Then why do we keep pretending?"
"It's complicated..."
Freen responded sadly and she whispered,
"Our careers, our fans... everything"
"But what about us??"
Becky pressed gently, reaching out to take Freen's hand,
"I don't want to hide it anymore. I want us to be real, Phi"
Silence filled between them and Freen finally spoke,
"I... I don't know if I can do this"
"Then... that's mean we can't be together??"
Freen was silent again then Becky finally sighed. She stood up and walked to the path, Freen followed her. Becky felt a strong hug from her back.
"Bec..."
Freen leaned her head on Becky's shoulder.
"Maybe... Maybe we can try this"
Becky's eyes were bright. She faced Freen and she held her hands.
"Really??"
Freen nodded, a smile playing on her lips.
"Really..."
She confirmed, gazing into Becky's eyes. The moment felt like the beginning of something new and exciting for both of them.
