TWO WEEKS LATER
"Girl what the hell I been calling you for over a week now.!" Angela said once Fatima walk into the precinct
"Im sorry I just need time for myself." Fatima said
"So is the rumors true.?" Angela ask
"No, but the way most of the officers downstairs look at me think so.!" Fatima sigh as she saw more stares she was getting
"Dont pay them no attention, the Captain wants to see you so the rumors cant be true." Angela said
"Yeah, I got his message that he left me." Fatima said
"Wilson my office." The captain said as he stuck his head out
"Good luck.!" Angela said as Fatima walk towards the captain office
"You wanted to see me.?" Fatima ask as she close the door behind her
"Please take a seat." The captain said
"I rather stand, whats this about.?" Fatima ask
"I think you know whats this about." The captain said
"Well yeah but I thought you said everything that you needed to say." Fatima said
"The IAB has close their case against you." The captain said
"And they couldnt find any mishap on your end." The captain said as Fatima remain silent and folded her arms. The captain sigh as he reach inside his desk and pulled out her gun and badge and place it on the desk
"You can start back tomorrow." The captain said
"Im sorry.?" Fatima ask
"I said you can start back tomorrow." The captain said
"Im sorry but with all due respect I don't want my job back." Fatima said
"Excuse me.?" The captain ask
"I should have never been put on leave in the first place-
"Given the substance of this case we didnt have any other choice-
"You did, you couldve listen to me and believe me when I said there was nothing going on between me and that dancer." Fatima said
"Fatima this was above me and you know that-
"And this is below me now." Fatima said
"Ms. Wilson what are you saying.?" The captain ask
" I don't want my job back.! I'll be out of your precinct in 20 just gotta clear my desk out.!" Fatima look at her gun and badge again before walking out heading towards her desk
"So what happened.?" Angela ask
"Fatima thank God you back." Hayden said walking up to them
"Im not.!" Fatima said as she start grabbing some of her things
"What.?" Hayden ask
"They fired you.?" Angela ask
"No, I quit.!" Fatima said
"Now, why would you do that for.?" Hayden ask
"Hayden why are you by me.?" Fatima ask
"I miss you around here." Hayden said
"Well miss me more cause im done." Fatima said
"Fatima you don't mean that, you love being a cop." Angela said
"Mhm I know what this is." Hayden sais
"Enlighten me what this is Hayden." Fatima sigh and look his way
