Lincoln was backstage, he was at a talent show, and right now he was waiting for his turn, he was competing against 20 others, who all had amazing skill, so he was very nervous.

Lincoln:*nervous* I hope they made it.

Lincoln has invited most of his family, minus Leni Luna and Lucy who were busy with stuff, Leni was hanging with friends, as she made plans weeks ago so Lincoln couldn't expect her to cancel just for him, though she did wish him luck and even made his outfit which was a black suit with a top hat so he was still grateful for that.

As for Luna she had a date with Sam, but was willing to reschedule until Lincoln told her to go on her date, much like Leni Luna also wished him luck for his event.

And Lucy had a meeting with the young morticians club, but wished Lincoln luck like her older sisters.

Lincoln was understanding about them not being able to come, so he didn't fault them
Though he did invite the other's, who all said they'd come and watch him, and Lincoln was sure they would.

Soon after waiting for his turn to perform, Lincoln was called on stage, he walked out and smiled to the crowd as he looked for his family, only he couldn't see them.

Lincoln:*thinking* that's alright maybe their in traffic, or something.

Lincoln then focused on his competition,
His first trick was a card trick, after he swapped his place with the judge which shocked everyone, he even mind controlled one judge and continued to do many other tricks.

Afterwards it was announced that lincoln was the first place winner, which made lincoln happy as he received his trophy and his 10'000 doller grand prize.

Once it was over, lincoln waited and watched, as other kid's were picked up by their families, he stood by with nobody coming to get him.

Lincoln:*heartbroken* th-they didn't show up.

Once lincoln realised this, he left knowing his family weren't coming to get him, as he was walking down the street thinking of a million reasons as to why his family hadn't shown, when he suddenly heard his name being called.

Luna: yo Linc!.

Lincoln: Luna?.

Lincoln was surprised, when he saw his sister Luna,this surprised him as he wasn't expecting to see her, he stood there as Sam's truck pulled to a stop Infront of him, he saw Luna and Sam were there and so was Lucy which confused him.

Lincoln: what are you doing here?.

Luna: my date with Sam ended, and we were driving back home we picked up Lucy on are way, what are you doing walking home.

Lucy: yeah wouldn't you go home the other's, why are you walking home.

Lincoln: uh well nobody showed.

Luna&Sam&Lucy: what?!.

Luna: what do you mean, nobody showed everyone else said they'd go.

Lincoln: I don't know, all I do know is that nobody was there.

Sam: jeez dude sorry to hear that, but who knows maybe something came up.

Luna: yeah maybe something important came up, and stopped them from coming.

Lucy: we'll figure it out, when we go home.

Sam: yeah you're right, c'mon Lincoln hop in.

Lincoln got in sitting between, Sam and Luna holding his trophy, which the others noticed.

Luna: bro did you get a trophy.

Lincoln: yeah actually, I got first place which got me a trophy and a check which are the grand prize.
