Kuroo seated himself at the barstool once again the next morning. A bowl of cereal was placed neatly on the counter just as he anticipated.

He heard Yaku talking distinctively in his bedroom, most likely on the phone with his boyfriend. Kuroo didn't mind.

It was nearing 9:30 now. He had about ten minutes to get ready which was all he needed. He picked up his spoon and ate the cereal quietly.

Kuroo yawned as he set the dish in the sink. It clattered against the plate but he ignored it and waltzed into his room to get dressed. He slipped on his work outfit, then his shoes, then made his way into the bathroom to do his hygiene.

He followed his everyday routine and made his way to the garage. Luckily he didn't have to rush down the stairs in his dress shoes. It always hurt the top of his heel when he did that.

Kuroo pressed the down button for the elevator and pulled out his phone while he waited. It was now 9:38. A notification slid across the top of his screen.

Kuroo smiled as he heard the elevator ding infront of him. He stepped inside and opened the notification.

It was a picture of the roads along with the time in the top right corner. Towards the bottom left of the picture was the caption, 'Traffic is insane in Tokyo.. it's only 9:40.'

Kuroo groaned as he exited out of instagram and shut his phone off. He should've left earlier.

The elevator doors opened again and he rushed out, pulling the keys from out of his pocket.

The car was parked much closer than yesterday all thanks to him. He opened the door and stepped inside, then clicked on Iwaizumi's contact and gave him a call.

It rang twice then picked up. "I swear to god, Kuroo."

"It actually isn't my fault this time. Check the traffic app." Kuroo smiled smugly.

He heard the faint tapping on the other line and a snort escaped his mouth as Iwaizumi let out a curse word.

"Fine, but do me a favor since you're already gone be late."

Kuroo tapped his finger on the steering wheel as his car came to a stop at the red light. "Yeah?"

"Stop by that coffee shop again."

"Wha— Iwa! It was so embarrassing yesterday!" The light turned green and Kuroo stepped on the gas.

"I bet it was, but I would really appreciate it. You can use the company card?"

Kuroo thought for a moment. "Can I get us a pastry too?"

"Obviously?"

Kuroo smiled. "Alright, I'll text you when I get there."

"See you soon." Iwaizumi hung up first.

Luckily he did so just as Kuroo pulled into the Coffee Shops parking lot. He hummed softly to himself, taking his time as he stepped out of the car.

10:52

He pulled open the door to the shop and stepped inside. Just his luck, both lines were insanely long.

He stood in the left side since it was much shorter and he awaited his turn.

The shops bell rang as the door opened again and Kuroo turned his head to see who walked in. He paused.

The guy from yesterday.

Kozume.

He looked up at Kuroo and rolled his eyes. He worse a red shirt with a pair of black shorts. Red seemed to compliment his figure quite nicely.
