#Chapter 2

-Arriving at the dining table-

Philia and her two brothers (Martial and Del) are casually waiting for their father (Katipunan) to come and sit with them to eat their breakfast.

A few moments passed and Katipunan finally arrived at the dining table with a faint smile on his face. The three saw the arrival of Katipunan and didn't hesitate to run and hug him, they were overjoyed to see their father in great condition now.

The little one, Philia spoke first, "How are you father? Are you well?" Philia said with joyful smile. Katipunan patted her head as he spoke before her, "I am feeling better my dear.. " Katipunan said but his voice is still a bit raspy so it was hard for the three to understand him, his butler (Manila) spoke for him for his children to understand. "His highness said he is feeling much better now.. " The children were more than happy to know the news.

As the family sat down at the dining table, the Butler's served them their meal for the day, with plates, cutleries, juice, coffee, meat, and pastries (there's more but I can't think of any). Del and Philia were watering because of the food. Looking how delicious it is, this stuffed there mouths with all the sweets, Martial in the other hand was laughing on how funny they look when they eat and Katipunan was just happy seeing them enjoy the meal.

But deep inside the smile of Katipunan there was depression on that day..

-Katipunan's POV-

My two eldest sons asked if I can watch them practice their combat fighting but since my little daughter will get lonely if I leave her, I just carried her to the practice feild so I can still be by her side.

The boys were practicing their skills and I was proud on much they improved, back then they used to struggle holding a wooden sword but now they do much better..

My daughter was getting bored and slept in my arms.. She reminds me of my wife so much..

The child choed and raised both of her arms and made baby noises.

Perla sang a song to the Philia whom I wish I can hear from her again.. With the song ending the Philia fell asleep in her arms.

Perla giggles and that's when I saw how sweet and gorgeous she is.. Well she was always beautiful and gentle. Our two sons came and hugged me and Perla and I hugged them too.. We were the happiest..

Ships was everywhere and I can barely see my family in sight.. All I hear is the screaming pain from other mermaids/mermans.

I was at lost of breath trying to find my family and I can barely see a thing..

After I searched the area, there I saw my wife and my children held captured in a net, I rushed over to get them out but the net was to thick. I didn't have my sword with me so I can't just slice the net open and get them free..
