this is my first republished fic, something i never thought i would do after straying from the star wars fandom for three-ish years, but here we are! there's no schedule to when i'll be doing this side project and if i'll ever finish republishing or post new stuff, but i hope that i'll have the time and motivation to do so since i'm just getting started. i hope you enjoy this much more fully fledged silly little idea!! take care :)

Ahsoka twirled her pen for what felt like the millionth time as she huffed out another sigh of boredom. Her knee bounced quickly under her desk while she stared at her holopad, dully observing her classmates who were clearly just as disinterested as she was.

The Resolute's engines hummed quietly through the walls, a stark contrast to the distant laughter her montrals could catch. She refrained from groaning out loud as she eyed the time. Five minutes haven't even passed since the class started.

It wasn't fair. According to the Council, she still had to continue this mission because in their words, she needed to 'tie up loose ends.' As if her work wasn't enough. Not only that, but they put her—the second most fidgety and energetic Jedi to ever exist (the first being Anakin)—to sit in front of a video call for what felt like hours on end when she could have been doing something much more productive. For instance, joining her Master and vod for whatever shenanigans they came up with today.

Her eyes flicked to the audio button, making sure she was muted before she discreetly let out a yawn. It was also an additional precaution because something explosive was bound to happen when Fives, Hardcase, and Anakin were on the ship at the same time. Hell, she would've joined the trouble if she wasn't stuck with this mission.

The temptation to take a nap was growing stronger with each passing minute. She yawned again, leaning her elbows against the corners of her device and interlocking her fingers to rest her chin. She dimly listened (more like tuned out but tomayto, tomahto) to the teacher drone on about some old regulation for trade routes.

"Miss Tano, please turn on your camera."

Odd. She swore it was on. Ahsoka straightened, aiming to click the button. As soon as she pressed down, her door slammed open, startling her and causing her finger to slip. She cursed under her breath before glaring at the intruder, silently demanding an explanation.

"'Soka," Fives whispered, swiveling his head quickly to inspect the empty hallway before he turned to her. His eyes were wide and pleading, and she stifled a smile. "Please hide me!"

"What are you doing?!" Ahsoka hissed. All of her boredom was long forgotten and she thanked the Force for giving her something much more interesting to focus on.

"Hardcase suggested that we play hide and seek to team build," Fives explained, his words nearly tumbling over each other as his eyes flitted around her room. "Turns out the whole fucking company wanted to join, and now I'm their next target because Kix wouldn't shut his goddamn mouth! I came here since I knew no one would bother you right now."

She didn't have the resolve to tell him that he was currently "bothering her right now." Instead, she sighed before pointing to her empty closet.

He shot her a grateful smile and a hasty 'thank you' before he dashed to her wardrobe, yanking the handles before cramming himself in. As soon as the closet door swung shut, her door once again slammed open, revealing Anakin. It wasn't long before Rex, Hardcase, and Jesse showed up, and they followed behind him as her Master entered her room.
