(Norris pov)
I woke up to the sound of thunder I looked around and it was dark and misty, the boat didn't have any kind of roof or anything so everyone was getting wet, their only protection being raincoats provided by the captain, i got out of Bowie a grip careful not to wake him as I looked out into the waters, I couldn't see any land, all I could see was the dark waters, the stars reflected against the waves as the fog made kind of a shadow, the misty rain dripping off the side of the boat, me and the rest of the group where probably the only ones who didn't have a raincoat so we were getting wet, I let out a sight as I thought about muigel Persephone and skyler.
I wish they hadn't stayed behind, it was probably the smartest thing to do but I wonder if we will see them again? What if they get caught ? What if we get caught? What if we spend the rest of our days in Rhode Island never too see them again? What about our families?
I looked at Bowie,Kenny, iain and Roxanne sighing, all we had in this moment was each other and nothing else.
The next morning
(Norris pov)
I don't remember falling asleep but I awoke too the sound of taking, it was still raining a tiny bit but it was now daylight I saw everyone else was awake
"Oh hello Norris good morning"
Kenny said smiling at me I nodded back
"So where's our first stop?" I asked too nobody in particular
"Well the captain said we should be stopping soon I'm it sure where tho, where stopping too get like food or something" Bowie said at me I nodded "great I'm hungry" we all fell into useless chatter until the boat pulled into a marina, the captain started to speak.
"Alright everyone! This is our first stop we are in hmm" he looked at his map again before speaking "we are at Wilmington beach Notth Carolina!"
The boat rioted in claps as me and the others glanced at each other "How are we already in North Carolina?" I asked nobody in particular "I honestly have no clue"
As everyone began getting off their boats we where stopped by a red haired lady "exuse me so you have a dollar to spare? I didn't bring money" we all shook our heads as we began making our way too the nearest restaurant which happened to be Taco Bell "man I love Taco Bell" I said rubbing my hands together we approached it and went in
(After eating, back on boat)
I was still munching on a burrito as the boat began moving our next stop was in a couple hours and for the most part the rain had cleared up. I looked up at Roxanne she still had a taco
"Roxanne"
"Yes Norris?"
"Are you going to eat that taco?"
She looked at the taco then to me
"No here you go"
She tossed it over to me and I put it in my lap.
"Thank you"
She nodded a welcome before laying back down since she did have a full eat to herself, after I absolutely devoured the food I yawned I checked my pocket watch and it said it was around 7:00
"Hey Bowie I'm gonna go to sleep is it okay if I lay on you"
He nodded as I layed my head on his shoulder, falling asleep to the sounds of the running water.
