Chapter 5 : Dating

1 pm, Agnihotri industries

" Nidhi I have heard that there has been a miracle of the boss not coming to office today. " Komal asked Nidhi in a inquisitive tone.

" There is nothing like that, the boss had some personal work and after that he left for the meeting from there. " Nidhi said .

" By the way, how do you know? " Komal asked raising her one eyebrow.

" Rohit told me and he will not be able to have lunch with me today. " Nidhi said sadly.

" Speaking of which, if the boss's secretary is your boyfriend, then it has a different fun. " Komal said while teasing Nidhi.

" Shut up, idiot. " Nidhi said to Komal while slapping softly on her shoulder.

Advika and Riya were sitting in the canteen waiting for Praveen when a girl came to them and said to Advika " Congratulations Advika. " and went from there.

After listening to Riya, Advika looked around and then said " You are right, but when did I rob the bank? " Advika asked in confusion.

" Sometimes I doubt you, how did you get the law degree, that too of a criminal defense lawyer. " Riya said while looking at Advika with doubtful eyes.

" Heyy, don't go on my degree. I was the topper of my batch. " Advika said proudly.

" There is a doubt about this. " Riya said mutteringly.

Before Advika could say anything, Praveen came there and asked " Has anything happened? All the people I met on the way from office to here were congratulating me. "

" You too? " Riya asked in confusion.

" What do you mean by me too, is anyone else getting an award? " Praveen asked.

" Are you getting an award? " Advika screamed.

" Why, am I not going to get it? " Praveen screamed louder than her.

" You both sit down. " Riya pulled both of them down, made them sit and then said strictly " Both of you sit completely quiet and just answer my question, understand. "

" Yes teacher. " Both of them said together.

Riya turned towards praveen and asked " What is this award thing? "

" When I was coming from office to canteen. Everyone was congratulating me, so I thought maybe I am going to get an award and that is why they are congratulating me. " Praveen said timidly.

" How did you thought like that. " Advika said angrily. " Do you even know how scared I was that you were going to get an award and I was not. I thought I would have to give you all my chocolates for a month because of that bet. "

" Guys, first let's discuss what is going on here and then we will talk about your chocolates, okay? " Riya said slowly.

" What do you mean what can be more important than chocolates? " Said Praveen. Advika also nodded her head on Praveen's words.

Riya held her head and said " When your important discussion is over then let me know. "

After some time,

Advika turned towards Riya and said " Now speak. "

" Have you both finished your discussion? " Riya asked.

" Yes, he is mad. When two-four people said congratulations to him, he thought that he is going to get an award and he has won the bet which we had placed among us that whenever someone among us gets the first award, his/her two wishes will be fulfilled. " Advika said dramatically.

" Ohh, but the bet has still been won. " Riya said.

" What? " Praveen and Advika both said in unison.

" Yes, because I am getting the award. " Riya said.

" Really? When? Where? Why didn't you tell us? " Praveen and Advika asked question after question excitedly.

" We will discuss all these later, first let's find out why these people are congratulating you and staring at you like that? " Riya said seriously.

Both of them nodded their heads on this.

Then again a girl came there and said " Advika and praveen, you both turned out be very clever. You are dating each other and you didn't even tell us. "

Hearing her words, Praveen and Advika were shocked as if they had received some shock, both of them shouted together " What nonsense? "

The girl got scared seeing them reacting like this and she stepped a step back. Seeing her doing this, Riya said to her lovingly "Hey, don't be afraid, both of them are crazy . You come here. "

That girl went to Riya. Riya made a disgusted face while asking her " Who told you these two are dating. "

" Miya, she told that Praveen and Advika were kissing each other in his office. "

" Eww, instead of kissing him/her, I would rather kiss my V's/Jungkook's photo. " Both said at the same time.

" Guys, I know both of you have only one brain cell but it is not necessary to display it like this. " Riya said while gnawing her teeth and she was looking at both of them as if she would beat them to pieces.

Seeing Riya in this form, both of them immediately became silent because they didn't want to get beaten by Riya, who has a black belt in karate.

" When did she tell you? " Riya asked the girl.

" Today itself. "

" Okay, thank you. " Riya said and the girl went away from there fastly.

Advika softly asked Riya " Oye, can we speak now. "

" Yes, speak. " Riya exhaled deeply.

" What will we do now? "

" What do you mean what to do? Let these people think what they are thinking and focus on your work or else go on telling everyone that you two are not dating each other and anyway these people are not going to listen to you. " Riya said seriously.

" Yes, you are right, after a few days they will forget it themselves. " Praveen said, Advika nodded.

And then they started having lunch.

11:45pm, Agnihotri villa

Avyaan was lying on his bed trying in vain to sleep. But it can never happen that he wants something and gets it.

After his futile effort, he got up and went to his study to do office work.

At the same time, Ahuja villa

Advika was sleeping in her room with a smile on her face.
