Chapter 3

*Star's POV*
*That Saturday at 12pm*
I walked into my cafe, and I don't see the cute goth boy anywhere.

"Hey girlll!!!!" C walked up to me wearing the maid dress that was required to be worn.
"He's not here right now..." I started getting a little pissed at the goth boy because I am starting to think he stood me up
"Lemme seat you for now. I'll bring the goth boy over to you once he's here." C brought me to a table
"Do you want anything while you wait Star?" C was trying to cheer me up, I could tell.
"No thanks..." I started getting madder that he stood me up.

I picked up my phone about to text him to ask him where he was but then he walked in and with a suit on too and damn does he look fine in that suit. C walked over to him and brought him over and seated him.

"Hello. I am your waiter, C. I am gonna give you 2 a minute to decide what you want to drink." C started walking away.
"You look really pretty Star." The goth boy started looking longingly into my eyes.
"Thanks! You look pretty good yourself." I was a little hesitant to say that because I don't even know his name.
"So... I never got your name." I bring up so I can finally know what to call him instead of 'cute gothic boy.'
"Oh, my bad I never actually introduced myself. The names Lucifer. You can call me Luci though." He was rubbing the back of his head seeming embarrassed.

C started walking up to us, ready to take our orders.

"So, what can I get you 2 started on today?" C took out his pen and notepad.
"I'll take the Lunar Eclipse Boba please and thank you!" Lucifer was handing C the menu.
"And for you?" C turned to me
"I'll take the same please and thank you." I handed him the menu
"Alright I'll get that out as quick as I can." C started walking to the back to put our orders in.
"So, you come here often?" Lucifer tries to make it less awkward than it already is.
"I come here from time to time, they have some pretty good pastries too." I bring up bc they are really good.
"I'll have to try some. Any recommendations?" Lucifer looks at me with a cute soft smile on his face.
"Yeah, I'd really recommend the Neptune macrons!" I said that because it was one of the safer options to say.
"Alright!" Lucifer seems quite interested in what I am saying.

Lucifer is low-key an amazing person and I've barely met him. He already seems interested in what I have to say instead of everything needing to be his way. As I was just daydreaming about Lucifer, C started walking up with our drinks.

"Here's your drinks!" C hands us our drinks
"Thank you!" Me and Lucifer say at the same time making us both laugh a bit

As C starts walking away, I give Lucifer his straw and take my straw and start mixing the boba around a little bit with the straw.

"So... what's your favorite color?" I ask, trying to break the silence.
"Oh uhm... my favorite color is called Russian Violet. Not a lot of people know about it but it's a really cool purple in my opinion." Lucifer kinda shied away not tryna seem nerdy from what i could tell.
"Oh! That's actually really cool! I'll have to look at it." I take out my phone to look at it and it is indeed a very 'cool' purple
"Woah! This color looks really cool!" I try to make it less awkward for Lucifer to talk about his favorite color.
"So, what's your fav color?" I can see Lucifer gaining his confidence back.
"My favorite color is (gotta wait for her to say sum)." 
"That's a really good color!" Lucifer tries to get the conversation a little better than it has been going.
"So what do you do for work?" I ask hoping to keep the conversation going.
"Oh, I work for a tech company." Lucifer said that like it was a casual thing to say.
"A tech company? Cool!" I say not trying to be nosy and ask how much he makes.

We start drinking the boba.

"Wow this is really good, good call on this cafe." Lucifer keeps drinking the boba.
"Yeah, this is one of my favorite drinks from this place that I've tried, and I have been wanting one recently." I kept drinking the boba.

C walks up once we finish our boba.

"So, how's the boba?" C already knew my answer, but he still asked to seem like I didn't know him
"It's really good!" Lucifer seems pretty pleased with the boba.
"Yeah, I like the boba a lot." I say, trying not to seem 'impolite' to the waiter on the first date.
"I am glad you two liked it! Would y'all like anything else? Maybe some of our pastries or more drinks?" C took out his notepad and pen again just in case.
"Actually, yeah. Can we get like 10 Neptune macrons please?" Lucifer remembered my pastry recommendation.
"Absolutely!" C started writing down the order on his notepad.
"Thank you!" Lucifer is actually having some mannerism unlike any of my exes did. 
"Thanks!" I said along with Lucifer to not put him off like I don't have mannerism.

C walks away to put in the other order. The cafe always has macrons preset because they take a long time to make so it'll be out soon enough.

"So... you got any pets?" I was trying to get another conversation going.
"I have a black cat named Hero." Lucifer took out his phone and showed me his cat.
"Omg your cat is adorable!!!" I wanted to steal his cat that's how cute it was.

C comes out with the macrons and puts them on the table.

"Is that all you 2 are having today?" C took out his pen and notebook again
"Yes, that's all thank you!" As Lucifer said that, C put away his pen and notebook.
"Alright, I'll grab the check. " C started to walk away.
"Thank you!" Me and Lucifer both said in unison again.
"I got the macrons for you, but I'll try one." Lucifer takes one and gives the plate to me.
"Aw thank you!" I almost started crying because nobody I was talking to or even dated did this for me.

As I eat the macrons, C brings out the check. Lucifer picks it up and takes out his wallet. I might throw hands with this man, why is he being so nice?

"Uhm excuse me... is this correct?" Lucifer and I are both a little confused
"Yeah, it's a thing this cafe does where we pick a table once a week to get their stuff complementary and it just so happened to be yours." C was doing this to make the date better.
"Oh. Well thank you!" Lucifer hands a 25$ tip over to C.
"Aw thank you!" C looks at me with the 'he's a keeper look.'
"Well, you 2 have a good day!" C walks away.
"Thanks, you too!" I tried to say before C walks away.

After a while of talking with Lucifer with the simple questions, we both got up and started walking out but as soon as we got up 2 people got into a fight at the table next to us. As C was trying to break it up, Lucifer picked me up by the legs with ease and started running out the door with me in his arms. 

"Are you okay darling?" Did lucifer just call me darling?
"Yeah, I'm okay. Thank you!" I said looking at him as he was carrying me.
"Oh, My car is right over there." I pointed at the car and Lucifer ran me over to my car in his arms.
"I had a great date today." Lucifer had that same cute smile he had the whole date.
"So did I! We need to plan another." I really wanted to get to know Lucifer better.
"Well goodbye darling." Lucifer did call me darling. He is so cute
"Goodbye!" I wish he would stay with me.

Lucifer took my hand and kissed it and then started walking away.
