This book is going to be a collection of poems I wrote inspired by the songs of Stray Kids.
Stray Kids is my favorite boyband. If I were to write about them, this preface would become too long for you to read it. I would rather keep it concise and say that Stray Kids feel like home to me. Their songs help me escape, their lyrics give me hope, their interaction with each other makes me believe in friendship and brotherhood, their success makes me believe in hardwork. I relate to Jeongin being loved by his hyungs; I relate to Seungmin making everyone laugh; I relate to Felix being the sunshine; I relate to Han being the extroverted introvert; I relate to Hyunjin being able to express through art, I relate to Changbin being the loud one, I relate to Lee Know being the most misunderstood, I relate to Chan being the dad of the group.
Stray Kids feel like home to me.

I wrote these poems out of my feelings that the songs aroused in me. I felt the music, understood and interpreted the lyrics and wrote the poems to express myself as best as I could. A few phrases of my poems are the literal translation of their song lyrics (words used in their song). I incorporated those words to relate my poem to their song and give a close feel. I've used my creativity to interpret their songs in my own manner and create a completely new piece of art inspired by SKZ's songs.
My intention is not to copy, misuse or misinterpret their songs. I understand there's a language barrier, and the actual meaning of their songs/lyrics may be a little lost in translation. So the poems I wrote may not be fully accurate. However, I believe that's no issue, since I used their songs to fuel my imagination.
I decided to title my poems after the songs that inspired them. I hope you will enjoy reading it. Even if you haven't heard their songs, I believe my poems will evoke a new feeling in you.
