The dazzling midday sun blazed overhead as Harper and Jake stuck to their plan, meeting in the campus parking lot at the same spot as the day before.
Under the gentle embrace of the sun's warmth, they leisurely made their way toward Harper's car, snugly tucked into her beloved hidden nook at the distant fringe of the campus' sprawling parking lots. This unique parking space remained a well-kept secret, largely due to its considerable distance from the main entrance.
The college boasted an abundance of parking areas sprawling across its vast campus, and as a result, this remote corner was rarely frequented by anyone.
It was incredibly strange, to say the least, the way they both inconspicuously slithered into her car. As if guided by an unspoken understanding, they moved with a synchronized ease. Harper, usually reserved and introverted, couldn't help but marvel at how this enigmatic boy had seamlessly entered her world.
Harper had always been one to keep her everyday actions hidden from the world's watchful eyes. She sought refuge in this hidden parking spot, a place where her car sat like a permanent fixture, alone and unnoticed.
