Chota laid on the couch with you and Arisu while Karube and Shibuki went to look for food and utensils.
"This might hurt", you told Chota. You placed burn ointment on his leg and he winced a bit. You wrapped his burn with bandages and ended up taking care of the burn on your arm afterward.
Arisu was trying to figure out how the phone we picked up worked if there was no electricity.
the phones everyone picked up said how many days you had left until you had to play a new game. Shibuki said each time you play a game, the more days you get based on the difficulty of them. That you'll see what happens when your days run out.
The paper you got was useless since you had the phones to keep track.
You were sat down next to Arisu while Chota was working on a radio trying to get it to turn on
"chota, it won't turn on", you tell him. He just looks at you and goes back to what he's doing.
"I'm still going to try, these things still work since they don't have IC chips installed."
"what? what does that mean then?" Arisu looked at Chota waiting for an answer, chota thought about it, "Maybe... It could've been an electromagnetic pulse attack. When fired into the stratosphere, it's a weapon capable of destroying the electronics in an entire city."
"okay nerd", you start laughing until Chota stares at you with a blank face. "I was just kidding, I love nerds", you gave him a small smile
"wait so why is this phone still working?" Arisu spoke up, chota raised his eyebrows and shrugged, "Not sure"
Out of nowhere, the phone Arisu had picked up had started turning off and on then a loading screen popped up until it completely turned off.
"Looks like it doesn't work anymore", you muttered and got up from the floor to sit next to Chota on the sofa. Arisu got frustrated and slammed the phone on the table and groaned.

arisu and you went out on a walk roaming around the abandoned buildings and left Chota with Shibuki and Karube. You and Arisu ended up on a roof in silence.
