The Truth

YN and Jennie followed Jungkook into Taehyung's cabin, the air thick with tension. Taehyung, seated at his imposing desk, looked up and immediately recognized YN as the girl from the library. His eyes narrowed as he took in her determined expression.

YN stepped forward, clutching the mysterious book tightly. "I need to know about this book. Why are you after it? What do you want with it?"

Taehyung's expression remained unreadable. "That's a personal matter, miss. It's better if you give me the book and leave."

YN stood her ground. "I'm not going anywhere until you tell me your relation to this book. I know you're connected to it."

Taehyung's eyes flickered with annoyance. "It's my book."

YN was about to retort, "If it's your book, then my pi—" when Jennie quickly grabbed her arm and whispered in her ear, "Don't tell him about it. We don't know his relation to the book."

Taehyung, noticing the interruption, asked, "Miss, you were saying something?"

YN shook her head. "Nothing."

Jungkook interjected, "Give us the book, and you can take as much money as you want."

Jennie snapped, "Look, mister, we're not here for money, okay?"

Taehyung rose from his chair and slowly approached YN, his gaze unwavering. As he got closer, YN's nerves heightened. He stopped just inches away from her, reached out, and held her hand. His intense eyes locked onto hers, and he gently took the book from her grip.

"Hey, I got this from the library!" YN protested.

Taehyung's voice was calm but firm. "It's mine now. You can leave, miss."

Jennie quickly grabbed YN's arm and started dragging her toward the door. "Let's go, YN. It's better for us to stay away from him. He's dangerous."

YN struggled against Jennie's grip. "Leave me! What are you doing?"

Jennie whispered urgently, "It's okay. The book is gone now. Everything will be fine."

As they exited the cabin, Taehyung watched them go, the book now securely in his possession. The encounter had raised more questions than answers, and the mystery surrounding the book—and YN—deepened.

After YN and Jennie left, Jungkook turned to Taehyung with a puzzled expression. "Hyung, there's something strange about that girl, YN."

Taehyung nodded, his thoughts mirroring Jungkook's. "I felt it too. There's more to her than meets the eye."

Jungkook shrugged. "Whatever it is, at least we got the book, right?"

Taehyung hummed in response but then turned serious. "Jungkook, we have to find her quickly."
