EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
Context
It was a week after Elena's coronation, everything seemed to be running smoothly. Except for 1 thing... Doña Paloma's produce still seems to be nowhere to be found.
ELENA POV
What if Gabe was right about sending troops? I mean anything could've happened... Maruvian creatures, Malvagos, Maruvian Malvagos, or all?!?!
GABE POV
Why didn't Elena take my advice? I mean Doña Paloma's produce is still gone and like... This is pointless... why still can't I get the courage to ask her out? she's one of my closest friends and WAIT DOES MATEO LIKE HER???
THIRD PERSON POV
Elena went to find Gabe to admit she was wrong, Gabe rushed to find Mateo.
"Mateo!! I have a question, ANSWER HONESTLY. Do you like Elena more than a friend?" asked Gabe impatiently.
"No...? What are you on about? WAIT DO YOU LIKE ELENA?" questioned Mateo
"Okay, maybe a little..." Gabe's face scrunched while saying that.
"Fine, I like her a lot, alright? Don't tell her, please. I just needed someone to confide in." said Gabe.
Little did Gabe know, Elena was behind the door, heard everything with her jaw dropped.
Elena then thought, "Does Naomi like Gabe??"
She rushed to Naomi.
"NAOMI!!" shouted Elena
"At your service your majesty" said Naomi jokingly then asked "What's up?"
"I have a question. Do you like Gabe like more than a friend?" questioned Elena
"Oh no. Of course not. Elena, I like someone else, and I can see it in your eyes that you like him a lot." replied Naomi
"Yeah, I do like him quite a lot..." said Elena, "Wait? YOU LIKE SOMEONE ELSE?" she shouted. "Is it Mateo?" whispered Elena
"Maybe." Naomi raised an eyebrow.
"The thing is, I know Gabe likes me, but what if it doesn't work out? What if our friendship is gone? What if he quits as a royal guard? It's his dream!" said Elena, full of worries.
"It's going to be alright, okay? Gabe's a good person. He will love you as much as you love him." comforted Naomi
"Thank you for always being there for me." said Elena, gratefully.
