CHAPTER 19 : A boy

AUTHOR'S POV

After crying for 15mins you stepped inside the room only to find Jungkook still angry and he is sitting on the bed when he looked at you he noticed your puffy eyes and red nose and eyes and he felt a pang of guilt for fighting with Derek and making you cry and he immediately looked away angrily and you felt so bad that you could cry again and you caressed your belly while sniffling softly and Jungkook felt like he was getting stabbed by millions of knives hearing your soft cries but he is still angry 

"J-Jungkook." you called out for him struggling to say something due to constant hiccups "What?" Jungkook asked in a harsh yet cold tone and he sounded annoyed making you start crying again "I-I a-am so-"  you got interrupted by him "Save it, I don't want listen to anything, Yn." Jungkook remarked harshly making you a crying mess and Jungkook didn't even spare a glance at you he is too busy being angry at you and Derek but especially at you for inviting Derek 

you cried while hyperventilating and you sniffled Jungkook's heart broke as he heard your wept but he still didn't say anything he knew you were feeling so sensitive because of your pregnancy hormones but still Jungkook is being so insensitive because he is angry on you "Jungkook, I-" you called out for him again but he interrupted you again "I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO ANYONE!" Jungkook shouted while pressing his palms together making you flinch hardly and cry more "YN, OUT NOW!"  Jungkook shouted you hesitated you wanted to talk to him and apologize but  "GET OUT!" Jungkook shouted he wanted some space and ran out the room closing the door and as you went out the room you saw Derek sitting there almost crying loudly "D-Derek." you called out for him and Derek glanced at you and he wiped his tears "W-Why are you crying sister-in-law?" Derek asked and you sat beside him on the couch "D-Derek, I-I a-am s-so s-sorry" you apologized and Derek shook his head "D-Don't apologize, sister-in-law, it is my fault if I didn't come here and caused a scene with Hyung you wouldn't be crying." Derek declared 

"N-No, d-don't say like that." you stated "I-I was supposed to help you bond with Jungkookshi, but instead I made it worse." you added while sobbing loudly and you and Derek cried for a few more minutes not knowing that Jungkook is listening to your conversation with Derek "H-Help?" Jungkook said in a light whisper and he almost cried "I-I am such an idiot, how can I be this stupid? I am making it up to them tomorrow." Jungkook mumbled to himself and he stepped inside the room again and he laid down on his bed acting like sleeping and you stepped inside the room and closed the door and your eyes were red and puffy and your nose is red due to severe crying and you laid down beside him and you fell asleep 

Jungkook turned around for you and he hugged you tightly "I-I am s-so sorry, Yn." Jungkook wept and nuzzled his nose against your neck 

MORNING

You slowly woke up and the first sight that greeted you was Jungkook's cute sleeping face and you sniffled and slowly sat up on the bed and Jungkook started waking up too and he first looked at you and you looked away and climbed down the bed and stepped inside the washroom hastily 

You came out the washroom after changing your dress and you caressed your belly softly and Jungkook sat on the bed "Come here." Jungkook commanded in his usual sweet voice you didn't want to but you complied and you went near him Jungkook pulled you close by your waist his touch gentle but firm "What?" you asked Jungkook attached his forehead on  your baby bump and he sighed and looked up at you "I-I'm s-sorry, Yn." Jungkook apologized his voice filled with remorse you did not want to accept his apology but you accepted "I-It's ok." and Jungkook looked up at you "N-No, I don't deserve your f-forgiveness...  I-I made you cry.. I-I was the one who sh-shouted at you." Jungkook panicked and you gently caressed his hair "It's ok, Jungkook." and Jungkook's eyes turned teary he felt soo bad he couldn't but hold back his tears and your face flickered shock for a brief moment for seeing Jungkook cry and your shock turned into concern and you hugged Jungkook "It's ok, Jungkook, don't cry." you gently cupped his cheeks and he smiled and he complied he stopped crying and you hugged him 

"OW!" You yelped when you felt a kick and Jungkook slowly caressed your belly "It's ok, it's just a kick it will pain but don't worry, it will be gone." Jungkook comforted "Jungkook, seems like your baby is much more active today." you stated playfully and Jungkook smirked "Oh, so now it's my baby, huh?" Jungkook asked smugly and stood and kissed your forehead "It's our baby, Yn." Jungkook declared and pecked lightly on your lips and your cheeks flushed pink this is not the first time he is pecked on your lips but still you couldn't help but blush making Jungkook chuckle "It's not the first I am kissing you, Princess." Jungkook declared smugly and you huffed playfully and Jungkook laughed heartily "You are soo cute." Jungkook gently pinched your cheeks and you pouted "I am, but our baby's gonna be my opponent in cuteness, Jungkook." you declared 

"Yn, how about we go ask the physician that which gender baby is gonna be born?" he asked and your eyes shined brightly and you nodded immediately 

"Ok, let's call the physician." Jungkook declared and immediately sent orders to Alfred and the physician immediately came running inside Jungkook's room and bowed down to him "Your Majesty, I am here to tell you the gender of the baby." The physician named Paul said and Jungkook nodded "Wait, before you start it I need to call someone." Jungkook declared and stepped out the room and his hand encircled around Derek's wrist 

"W-What are you d-doing, Hyungie?" Derek asked and Jungkook didn't respond instead he took him inside the room where you are there and the physician standing at the corner while you stood near the bed "You can start now." Jungkook commanded and the Paul nodded and Derek went towards you and whispered "Why did Hyungie take me here?" he asked and you smiled "To find out about the baby's gender." you declared while caressing your belly and Derek glanced down at your belly and he smiled "Do you think Hyungie's sorry for slapping me?" he asked and you nodded and Derek's eyes shined brightly 

"Ok, Your Majesties, to find out about the baby's gender I have to use the old wives tales, what does her Majesty eat is it sweet and sugary or savory and sour?" Paul asked "She craves for savory and sour things.. She didn't eat sweet or sugary items much."  Jungkook declared and you nodded in agreement 

"Sweet and sugary items means it's a girl but sour items means it's a boy." Paul declared your eyes lit up in excitement you are okay either if it's a boy or a girl "But, I am not so sure, I will also try with the pregnancy symptoms just to be sure." Paul declared and asked everything about your symptoms and it all indicated to a boy 

"I am really sure now, it's a boy, Your Majesty!" Paul declared and you smiled widely and Jungkook smiled too and you both exchanged glances  and Derek smiled he is excited that he is going to be an uncle and Paul left later 

your face beamed in happiness and Jungkook closed the door and hugged you tightly yet gently and Derek smiled happily he is soo happy that Jungkook made it up to you

Jungkook backed away from the hug and walked towards Derek and held his hands in his and smiled sadly "I am so sorry, Derek, I am sorry for slapping you." Jungkook apologized and Derek smiled "It's ok, Hyungie, even if you kill me you will always be my Jungkook Hyungie!" Derek exclaimed and hugged Jungkook "Don't say that, I can never kill you, Derek." Jungkook declared and hugged him back and you cooed "So cute!" you mumbled and Jungkook backed away from the hug and his one arm wrapped around your shoulder and his other arm wrapped around Derek's shoulder 

"I love you both so much." Jungkook declared while smiling "And my baby boy too." Jungkook added while looking at your big baby bump
